I went by road. Just went with my international passport and no unnecessary vaccine....I told any official that stopped us that I am going to the embassy at Accra for my MVV, showed one my enrollment documents from NHL Stenden.

And the road is cheaper and also safe

Did you go by road or air to Ghana?

I am thinking of goinģ by air but the flight times are not convenient for me. One is by 7am, the other is by 6:30pm. Considering where I stay in Lagos, not sure I can make it to the 7am flight and also considering the arrival time in Accra, the 6.30pm isn't good either.

For housing, I will suggest you go for studentstay, as they are good for 1st year students. Then, when you are here, you can then take your time and look for house.

But the visa pickup is not the school's fault, it is your country's fault....either you use Benin or Accra, but the appointment date is just the issue. Getting your MVV is quite fast, it didnt take me 3 days after I submitted my documents at the embassy.

I stayed in that hotel, just come with enough cash ohh...and use taxi...but if you get plenty money, then use bolt

I got my visa last year but my appointment with the Ghana Embassy was Feb (my study started that same Feb), I only informed my school of the fact that I would be late due to the embassy late appointment schedule, the school accepted. I resumed late but was able to get myself going from there....and don't go without an appointment, you will waste your time. And again, don't take any passport here, you will be able to do so at the embassy, the security guard will show you the place

Congratulations. Unfortunately don't have answers to your question. What are the process that you followed to apply for the admission, how rigorous is it, and how much is the proof of fund?

I went on the Studielink site to search for my preferred program, applied, sent my documents and was given a letter of admission. After the letter of admission, you transfer your tuition, insurance fee, visa fee and 15000 euros POF to the school's account. Then they apply for the visa for you.

Its not so hard, the only issue many people face in the whole application is looking for housing and the visa pickup—like in my case.

A family friend booked an appointment for me on the 28th of Auguat but I have to be in the NL waaay before that date. I have sent a mail to acc-ca@minbuza.nl telling them about my situation and called them too but they instructed me to send a mail instead.

Please, my question is, can one go to the Royal Dutch Embassy in Accra, Ghana without an appointment, and if not, please share your experiences and things required (esp the 35 by 45mm passport requirement) at the embassy.

Go to ikeja by airpor toll gate . The heath facility there is where u get it for international travellers.

Hi everyone, I am having issues opening the Cotonou, Benin and Accra, Ghana sites for booking an appointment. It directs me to Vfsvisaonline.com but the site refuses to open. I dont know if I am going to the right site or if its from my network.

Good day everyone, please I really need your help. Since I was a child, I have never known peace from my mom. I am an only child and my dad died when I was very little. My mom has extreme anger issues, and I mean really extreme. I can remember events from when I was 6 years till today. She has threatened multiple times to stab me to death or poison my food. She has thrown a breakable plate and those big rechargeable torchlights on my body. The plate hit my leg while the torch hit my breasts. During those events she repeatedly said that she wishes She or I would just die.

She keeps saying that since her brothers never amounted to anything good, that I'll never be useful to her too.
I have applied for two visas now and they have both been refused. Whenever I apply, she'll say I should come and go nah.

She bickers with everyone and when I try to calm the situation, she transfers the aggression to me.
She always says that even before she had me that pastors told her that I will not be useful to her and that she should abandon me with my dad immediately I am born.

When she insults me, she says She knew it, that i will definitely become like my dad.

We planned to visit her friend in Ogun State today, but yesterday she started with the insults and I made up my mind that I will not go with her because I know once we get there she'll play the victim card and her friend will support her.

She has been on the phone with her friend since morning and they have called me a demon and my fathers incarnate. Her friend told her to send me away and lock the doors up and anywhere I like, I should go even if its a brØthel. And that if I refuse to go, she should throw me out and embarrass me in front of our neighbours and everyone in the street.

When I heard it, I left the house and went to the shop. That's where I have been for hours now.

She isn't someone you can have a conversation with. When we have issues and I try to talk to her calmly, she'll reply that they are using me from her village and because I have grown thats why I think i can talk back at her.

BTW I am 23 years old.

She has taken me to many churches since I can remember. Some to bathe in the river, others to drink the water from snail and other weird things. When I refuse to go with her most times, she start cursing me and telling me that they told her about me, so she isnt surprised.

I dont have relationship with my fathers people because she claims they are bad and that they killed my father.
I am only close to her late sisters children and they live very far from Lagos.

I have called one of them and explained everything to her. She said she'll call her and talk to her.

Please what do I do? I am most happy when we are silent to each other, honestly.

Just leave UK alone for now. Go to other Countries that give visas with no stress. Maybe Dubai, Qatar etc..

If you read the refusal letter paragragh by paragraph, you woul see that you stood zero chance and made a lot of mistakes. The letter speaks for itself

Using personal account for business
business not generation enough funds
No family ties to Nigeria
Business probable not doing well, due to the situation of the country
You also do not own any property
You also did not show your relationship with the people you claimed are sponsoring you.

Good day everyone, This is my first UK visa application. I received my refusal letter a few days ago.
I have never been out of Nigeria and I am trying my best to disvirgin my passport.

I applied for a visit visa. I chose to include a close friend of my first cousin as my UK host. My mom, my first cousin and her husband who is a USA citizen, all chose to sponsor my visit. In the refusal letter, I don't see anything about my sponsors. I included pictures of us all together, affidavits, letters and bank statements too.

Please, what did I do wrong and how can I correct it in later visa applications? Thank you.
