Olanipekun, Adoke, Adegbonmire unveiled among Nigeria’s top 100 lawyers

The roll call of the first-ever nationwide ranking of preeminent lawyers has been unveiled in the eagerly anticipated Nigeria’s Top 100 Lawyers listing.

The full list, disclosed today at www.citylawyermag.com, features leading litigators, transactional lawyers and lawyers in the academia who have shaped the legal industry over the years.

They include acclaimed litigators Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN) and Mr. Rickey Tarfa (SAN), Attorney-General & Minister of Justice Mohammed Adoke (SAN), and ‘new kid on the block,’ Mr. Adeniyi Adegbonmire.

The ‘old guard’ was represented by Nigeria’s oldest surviving Senior Advocate, Chief Richard Akinjide (SAN), Prof. Ben Nwabueze (SAN), Prof. Alfred Bandele Kasunmu (SAN), Chief F. O. Akinrele (SAN) and Chief George Uwechue (SAN) among others.

From the human rights community are notably Dr. Olisa Agbakoba (SAN) and Mr. Femi Falana (SAN), even as women lawyers held down some positions through renowned arbitrators such as Mrs. Funke Adekoya (SAN), Mrs. Dorothy Ufot (SAN), and Mrs. Adedoyin Rhodes-Vivour.

While the list is perhaps expectedly dominated by Senior Advocates of Nigeria, several non-SANs muzzled their way into the listing, a clear indication that legal excellence can be found anywhere. Among the non-SANs who also made the list are respected solicitors such as Messrs Asue Igbodalo, Lawrence Fubara Anga and Bankole Sodipo.

According to Emeka Nwadioke, editor of the compendium designed to celebrate the selectees, the ranking – to be published every year – “follows months of research and nationwide peer survey by our editorial team.”

Nwadioke said the all-gloss compendium highlighting the career paths and accomplishments of the selectees will be released this month. The foreword to the over 100-page compendium was written by renowned Justice Emeritus of the Supreme Court, Hon. Justice George A. Oguntade (CFR)

Health / Ebola:nma Ask Federal Government To Establish Community Base Surveillance Unit. by phaat(m): 11:34am On Oct 19, 2014
The Nigerian Mediacal Association (NMA) has asked the federal government to establish what it called Community Ebola Surveillance Units, saying that this is not the time to relapse in the fight as Ebola remains a global disease.

The NMA President, Dr Kayode Obembe, stated this yesterday at a press conference in Abuja to flag-off this year’s physicians week in Nigeria.

He said, “Community-Based Ebola Surveillance Units should be established. Ebola is no longer a local but a global disease that must be eliminated from the terrestrial habitat”.

He used the opportunity to commend government’s effort at containing the virus.

Obembe said that for alertness in community-based surveillance, illnesses with onset of fever and anyone of bleeding, diarrhoea, bleeding when urinating, and such like, once identified, should be reported to the surveillance team or the closest health centre.

The association also recommended the establishment of, at least, one isolation unit in each senatorial district or state of the federation.

“For proper function of these isolation units, ambulance transfer services must be provided to convey probable and suspected cases to these units for evaluation and treatment.

“Ambulance staff must be trained and equipped to reduce the risk of patients staff cross-infection while states should provide information on help lines and sources of information on the disease,” the statement said.

The NMA also want the communities to provide cremation sites while the state provides resources and instruction for safe disposal of bodies and other bio hazardous materials.

It would be recalled that the World Medical Association (WMA) had, earlier last week, at its session in Durban, South Africa called on national and local governments to increase public communication about basic infection control practices.

The WMA strongly urged all countries, especially those not yet affected by Ebola, to educate health care providers about current case definition in addition to strengthening infection control methodologies and contact tracing in order to prevent transmission within their countries.

Politics / Jonathan Urges Buhari To Be Truthful In His Presidential Campaign by phaat(m): 6:24pm On Oct 16, 2014
President Goodluck Jonathan has warned  General Muhammadu Buhari to conduct his presidential campaign with regard for the truth.

The President in a statement, Thursday, signed by Reuben Abati, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity) rejected the claims by Buhari during his declaration on the economy and Jonathan’s government.

Read thus
“We have noted with disappointment and regret, the reckless, baseless and unsupportable charges made against the Jonathan’s Administration yesterday by a supposed elder Statesman, General Muhammadu Buhari.

We wholly reject the allegations made by General Buhari against the Jonathan’s administration at yesterday’s declaration of his intention to contest the 2015 presidential elections as an irresponsible denigration of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s sincere efforts, over the past four years, to positively transform Nigeria.

It reflects very badly on the character of the political opposition we now have in Nigeria, that a political leader of General Buhari’s stature will deliberately make such false and uncharitable comments about the elected leadership of his country, merely for personal and sectional political gain.

The falsity of General Buhari’s anti-Jonathan and anti-PDP claims will be obvious to knowledgeable Nigerians and friends of the country, but for the benefit of others we will like to affirm that there is absolutely no truth whatsoever in his charge that “the last 16 years of PDP Government has witnessed a decline in all critical sectors of life in Nigeria” or that “the economy continues to deteriorate”.

Statistics and rankings from the National Bureau of Statistics, the Central Bank of Nigeria, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and other international economic agencies give the lie to General Buhari’s claims on the state of the Nigerian economy.

As is well known, available figures, statistics and ratings show that the Nigerian economy has consistently maintained an unprecedented growth rate of 6-7% under the Jonathan administration. They also show that the Nigerian economy is now the leading economy in Africa and the 26th largest in the world with a gross domestic product of over $500 billion per annum.

Also contrary to General Buhari’s assertion yesterday, Nigeria’s agricultural sector is thriving under the reforms being implemented by the Jonathan administration as current production figures show and neither manufacturing nor commerce is “down” as the APC presidential aspirant alleged.

His most uncharitable and inexcusable accusation against the present administration was that election rigging continues to thrive in Nigeria.

We trust that all patriotic, objective and non-partisan Nigerians will reject that allegation knowing it to be invalid and they will have the evidence of the progressively freer, fairer and ever more credible elections conducted under the Jonathan administration to support their position.

Despite the other false accusations General Buhari made against the President who he clearly fears to take on in an honest, issues-driven presidential election contest, President Jonathan will continue to carry forward his transformation agenda in the power sector and other areas.

The President will not be discouraged or deterred from his objective of repositioning Nigeria for accelerated and inclusive socio-economic development by the partisan and jaundiced views of power seekers like General Buhari who cannot see the obvious results of the current administration’s efforts through their blinkered eyes.

We also draw the attention of Nigerians to the total lack of originality in the hackneyed manifesto offered to Nigerians yesterday by the APC Presidential aspirant.

All that General Buhari promises to do are already being done by the Jonathan Administration to the acclaim of ordinary Nigerians and there is no evidence before Nigerians that the APC leader and his acolytes can do them better.

The retired General is free to renege on his well-publicized pledge not to seek elective office as he has done, but we urge him to conduct his presidential campaign with greater regard for the truth.

Politics / Fintiri Raises Corruption Allegations Against Jugde by phaat(m): 4:58pm On Oct 16, 2014
Former acting governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has raised allegations of corruption against Justice Adeniyi Ademola of the Federal High Court in Abuja.

He also petitioned the National Judicial Council (NJC) to investigate the judge over allegation of not releasing a copy of the judgment, which sacked him from office to his lawyers.

The chamber of former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Bayo Ojo, lead counsel to Fintiri, in a petition dated 10 October and a follow-up dated 14 October, signed by Duro Adeyele, laid the claim.

According to the chamber, “To begin with, though Tuesday 7 October was a public holiday, I got a phone call at about 6:19 pm from someone who claimed to be the secretary to the presiding judge of Federal High Court No 6, Abuja, intimating me that judgement in the above quoted suit would be delivered the next day Wednesday, 8th October.

“I was not in Abuja and I, therefore, instructed one of my junior colleagues in chambers to go for the judgement. I also emphasised that he should obtain a certified true copy of the judgement, as my expectation was that His Lordship would make a copy of the judgement available to parties knowing the constitutional and political nature of the case. However, no copy of the judgement was made available.

“On getting back to Abuja on the same Wednesday, 8th October, I instructed one of my junior colleagues in chambers to apply for a certified true copy of the said judgement to concretize the notice of appeal, which I had instruction of my client to file.

“However, up till close of business of that day, the judgement was not made available. Nevertheless, I still went ahead to file a notice of appeal based on what my junior heard in court.

“My Lord, to my shock and surprise, up till the close of business the next day, Thursday and Friday, Ademola J. refused to release the said judgement and there is no indication from the court when it will be ready and made available to me. One would expect that in a matter such as this, his Lordship should have gotten the judgement ready before delivering same.”

Buhari’s Declaration Address

Being the full text of the speech given by Gen. Muhammadu Buhari at the Eagles Square during his formal declaration for the presidency}
First I would like, Mr Chairman, if I may, pay tribute to Nigerians as a whole who are enduring all sorts of hardships and deprivations on a daily basis. Many millions are grappling with extreme poverty and barely eking out a living. Nearly all are in fear of their lives or safety for themselves and their families due to
Insurgency by the godless movement called Boko Haram;
• By marauding murderers in towns and villages;
• By armed robbers on the highways;
• By kidnappers who have put whole communities to fright and sometimes to flight.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is everyone’s duty to resolve and help the national effort to overcome these immense challenges. I would like us to place on record our appreciation for the efforts of our Armed Forces under new leadership and police in confronting these challenges.
I would like, secondly, to thank our supporters up and down the country for their perseverance and resolve in face of an oppressive PDP government.
Mr Chairman, this is an occasion to celebrate our efforts and to resolve to continue until victory is won. I humbly wish to present myself before you, before all of Nigeria and before God seeking to be elected as APC’s Presidential candidate. Having appreciated that the only way to relieve Nigerians of the PDP, the main opposition parties decided to pool their strengths into one party. We have worked very hard in the last 18 months to put up structures from the polling units to wards, local governments, states and the centre.
We have tried to ensure all processes in our party formation to be transparent and credible. These structures will lead to free and fair polls. There is no point in holding elections if they are not free and fair.
Interference in the form of rigging which PDP Government has practised since 2003 is the worst form of injustice – denying people their right to express their opinions. Whether they like it or not, injustice cannot endure.
Since 1999 PDP has presided over our country’s decline. Nigeria in my experience has never been so divided, so polarized by an unthinking government hell bent on ruling and stealing forever whatever befalls the country. Mr Chairman, we in APC are resolved to stop them in their tracks and rescue Nigeria from the stranglehold of PDP.
The last 16 years of PDP Government has witnessed decline in all critical sectors of life in Nigeria
• There is now general insecurity in the land
Quite apart from Boko Haram, there is prevalence of Armed Robbery, kidnappings and killings, cattle rustling, market and farmland arson.
These outrages have taken a new and a frightening dimension, disrupting economic and social life across whole communities.
• The economy continues to deteriorate while the Government continues to announce fantastic growth figures but manufacturing is down, agriculture is down, commerce is down
Simply because you sell oil and steal part of the money does not entitle you to cook figures and announce phantom economic growth when all the major indices namely,
• Employment
• Manufacturing
• Farming
• Trading
are demonstrably on the decline.
• When PDP came to power in 1999 Nigeria was generating about 4,000 M/W of electricity. After 15 years and $20 billion spent we are generating between 3,000 – 4,000 M/W. No failure is more glaring than this.
We in APC are resolve to bring change to Nigeria. We plan to do things differently.
We plan to put priority on
• Protection of lives and property.
• Pursuing economic policies for shared prosperity and immediate attention on youth employment.
• Quality education for development, modernity and social mobility.
• Agricultural productivity for taking millions out of poverty and ensuring food security.
• Reviving Industry to generate employment and “make things” not just to remain hawkers of other peoples’ goods.
• Developing solid minerals exploitation which will substantially attract employment and revenue for government.
• Restoring honour and integrity to public service by keeping the best and attracting the best.
• Tackling corruption which has become blatant and widespread. The rest of the world looks at Nigeria as the home of corruption. Nigeria is a country where stealing is not corruption.
• Last, (but not the least or final) respecting the constitutional separation of powers between the executive, legislatures and judiciary and respecting the rights of citizens.
Mr Chairman, there, in outline are some policy proposals about the direction APC should take when, by the grace of God, we are given the responsibility of serving Nigeria in Government.

Walcott close to Arsenal comeback

Theo Walcott is in contention to make his first Arsenal appearance for nine months in Friday’s Under-21 Premier League clash with Blackburn.

Walcott has not featured for the Gunners since rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in January’s 2-0 FA Cup win over Tottenham, and also missed England’s disappointing World Cup campaign in Brazil with the injury.

But the 25-year-old returned to first-team training on Monday and, barring any setbacks, could be included in Arsenal’s Under-21 squad to take on Rovers at Boreham Wood on Friday evening.

Serge Gnabry may also feature for the Gunners, having participated in Monday’s session as he continues his recovery from a knee injury which has sidelined him for the start of the season.

A further boost for Arsene Wenger comes with the news that club captain Mikel Arteta is back in training after missing matches against Galatasaray and Chelsea with a calf injury, while Aaron Ramsey’s recovery from a hamstring problem is also progressing well.

Neither, however, are in contention for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Hull City and Wenger remains cautious on the status of Mesut Ozil, who sustained a knee injury while on international duty with Germany and is not expected to return until 2015.

Celebrities / Mansa Musa I Of Mali Was The Richestman When Aliko Dangote Was 10yrs Old In 1967 by phaat(m): 12:29am On Oct 15, 2014
When we think of the world’s all-time richest people, names like Bill Gates, Warren Buffet and John D Rockefeller immediately come to mind.
But few would have thought, or even heard of, Mansa Musa I of Mali – the obscure 14th century African king who was today named the richest person in all history.
With an inflation adjusted fortune of $400 billion, Mansa Musa I would have been considerably richer than the world’s current richest man, Carlos Slim, who ranks in 22nd place with a relatively paltry $68 billion.
The list, compiled by the Celebrity Net Worth website, ranks the world’s 24 richest people of all time. The list advertises itself as the top 25, but 26 names appear in the list.
Although the list spans 1000 years, some aspects of wealth appear consistent throughout history; there are no women on the list, only three members are alive today, and 14 of the top 25 are American.
The list uses the annual 2199.6 per cent rate of inflation to adjust historic fortunes – a formula that means $100 million in 1913 would be equal to £2.299.63 billion today.
Mansa Musa I ruled West Africa’s Malian Empire in the early 1300s, making his fortune by exploiting his country’s salt and gold production. Many mosques he built as a young man still stand today.
After Mansa Musa I death in 1331, however, his heirs were unable to hang on to the fortune, and it was substantially depleted by civil wars and invading armies.
Second on the list are the Rothschild family, whose descendants are still among the richest people on the planet. Starting out in banking in the late 18th Century, Mayer Amschel Rothschild’s finance house accumulated a total wealth of $350 billion. The money has since been divided between hundreds of descendants, many of whom are business leaders today.
Meanwhile John D. Rockefeller, third on the list, is the richest American to have ever lived, worth $340billion in today's USD at the time of his death in 1937.
In comparison, the poorest man on the list is 82-year-old Warren Buffett, who at his peak net worth, before he started giving his fortune to charity, was $64billion.
Here’s the full list of the ‘26 richest people of all time’:
1. Mansa Musa I, (Ruler of Malian Empire, 1280-1331) $400 billion
2. Rothschild Family (banking dynasty, 1740- ) $350 billion
3. John D Rockefeller (industrialist, 1839-1937) $340 billion
4. Andrew Carnegie (industrialist, 1835-1919) $310 billion
5. Tsar Nicholas II of Russia (last Emperor of Russia, 1868-1918) $300 billion
6. Osman Ali Khan, Asaf Jah VII (last ruler of Hyderabad, 1886-1967) $236 billion
7. William the Conqueror (King of England, 1028-1087) $229.5 billion
8. Muammar Gaddafi (former Libyan leader, 1942-2011) $200 billion
9. Henry Ford (Ford Motor Company founder, 1863-1947) $199 billion

12. Bill Gates (Founder of Microsoft, 1955- ) $136 billion
13. William de Warenne, 1st Earl of Surrey (Norman nobleman, ??-1088) $146.13 billion
14. John Jacob Astor (businessman, 1864-1912) $121 billion
15. Richard Fitzalan, 10th Earl of Arundel (English nobleman, 1306-1376) £118.6 billion
16. John of Gaunt (son of Edward III, 1330-1399) £110 billion
17. Stephen Girard (shipping and banking mogul, 1750-1831) $105 billion
18. Alexander Turney Stewart (entrepreneur, 1803-1876) $90 billion
19. Henry, 1st Duke of Lancaster (English noble, 1310-1361) $85.1 billion

Audit report of missing NNPC $10.8b ready soon, says Okonjo-Iweala

•Seeks tracking of campaign funding

By Kingsley Ighomwenghian, Deputy Editor

Nearly 10 months after exposure by then Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Lamido Sanusi, that $20 billion was lying with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) unremitted to the Federation Account, Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has assured that an audit report into the oil money will be out soon.

According to the minister, “initially it was $48 billion, then $20 billion, but the figure we have always had is $10.8 billion.

“I am Minister of Finance, if money is missing … I want to use it for good things for the country, and that was why when we went to the Senate we demanded for forensic audit, the President supported it and asked for it to be done.

Speaking at the Financial Times Africa Summit 2014 in London on Monday, Okonjo-Iweala who is also Coordinating Minister for the Economy, reiterated that the amount is not new and that it had been a source of discussions between the Ministry of Finance and its the Petroleum Resources counterpart.

The huge attention the issue generated, she said, led to the appointment of the firm of PriceWaterHouseCoopers by the Federal Government to undertake a forensic audit.

“We engaged PwC with the Auditor General taking the lead. They initially asked for 16 weeks to complete the work, they have spent 11 or 12 weeks so far and they will be done in a couple of weeks”.

Meanwhile, in the build up to the 2015 general elections, Okonjo-Iweala wants Nigerians to show more interest in the ‘how and who funds’ campaigns to various electoral offices in the country.

“We all want democracy, but how do you get it? It involves money.

“If you want accountability and good governance you must discuss issues relating to campaign funds.

“People who sponsor campaigns believe they must get something from the government when elections are won. These are the real elephant in the room and we need to deal with it,” she said.

The issue of campaign funding has been of huge interest, particularly with the activities of Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN), which has been organising zonal rallies across the country to drum up support for re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan.

TAN is believed to be sponsored by some moneybags, including friends believed to have benefitted hugely from the administration.

Such rallies are usually attended by top government functionaries led by Secretary to Government of the Federation, Pius Ayim Pius, serving Ministers and Governors eulogising the activities of the administration.

Also speaking on the killer Ebola virus disease (EVD) at the summit, the minister said Nigeria ought to be commended for ensuring the index case did not take the illness out of the country in addition to containing it.

“Nigeria did a great service by stopping (Patrick) Sawyer who was Minnesota bound. Ebola cannot be said to be the real elephant in the room, as it has been hyped beyond proportion by the media,” Okonjo-Iweala said.

NYSC / Rep.probe Four Thousand Naira Call Up Letter. by phaat(m): 8:58am On Oct 01, 2014
THE House of Representatives, yesterday, began a probe into the alleged N4,000 to be collected by the management of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, as registration fee from corps members.
Also, the Nigeria Financial Intelligence Centre, NFIC, Bill scaled through third reading in the House.
The House, based on the allegation, urged NYSC to suspend forthwith the policy requiring prospective NYSC members to pay the amount with effect from 2015 before accessing their call-up letters.
Hassan Saleh (PDP, Benue), who sponsored the motion, expressed concern over “recent advertorials in some national newspapers that with effect from 2015, corps members will be required to register online with a fee of N4,000 to be able to access their call-up letters as an alternative to going to their various schools to collect the letters.”
He said: “As laudable as the idea of sending call-up letters through the internet may be, the decision requiring fresh graduates to cough out N4,000 to access letters appears insensitive and exploitative.”
However, just as the presiding officer, Emeka Ihedioha was about calling for voice vote on the matter, Uzo Azubuike (PDP, Abia), came up with a Point of Order, saying the Public Petitions Committee, which he chairs, was already on the matter.
After this observation, Ihedioha called on the Chairman, Rules and Business Committee, Albert Sam-Tsokwa (PDP, Taraba) to guide the House.
Sam-Tsokwa explained that since the public petitions committee had began investigating the matter, the honourable thing to do was for the motion to be withdrawn
Agriculture / How To Make Money With Soil-less Farming. by phaat(m): 8:33pm On Sep 30, 2014
Childhood best friends muniruand ambali are teaching farmers a technique that may sound like the stuff of science fiction — growing crops without the use of soil and making a tidy sum out of it.

After a series of boring jobs and failed businesses the 26-year old college of agric, mokwa niger states tried to rear pigs early last year but the venture proved too expensive for the fresh graduates.

“We just wanted to keep a few pigs and see how it goes,” says' ambali“but our biggest problem was the cost of feeding them. That was when my best friend Sam suggested that we grow our own fodder using a rare technology known as hydroponics”.

Hydroponics is the process of growing crops without the use of soil.

The technique avoids soil to speed up growth while avoiding plant diseases.

“What grows normally on soil for 21 days can take only six days if grown using the hydroponics technology,” says Mbugua.

You can grow pretty much anything using this soil-less method, but ambali decided to grow livestock fodder because it not only saves space and time, but it is also cost-effective in production process

Food / Shelf Life Of Fresh_cut Fruits And Vegetables. by phaat(m): 7:56pm On Sep 30, 2014
Shelf Life of Fresh-Cut Fruits and Vegetables
The shelf life (i.e., the length of time that corresponds to a tolerable loss in quality of a processed food and other perishable items) of fresh-cut fruits and vegetables ranges from 1 to 35 days depending on types of shelf life (such as marketing shelf life, food safety shelf life, sensory shelf life, or microbiological shelf life), food safety concerns, marketing strategies of fresh-cut processors, produce commodities, raw materials, refrigerated storage temperatures, preparation methods, and packag- ing methods. Marketing shelf life of fresh-cut products, indicated by sell-by-date, best if use-by-date, use-by-date, or best use-by-day, is not necessarily the same as sensory shelf life or microbiological shelf life, depending on marketing concerns and competition. The average shelf lives of fresh-cut fruits and vegetables are typi- cally 10–14 days (Cantwell & Suslow, 2002). However, the shelf life for kitchen- ore-prepared fresh-cut fruits for the catering industry and restaurants is only 1–2 days (Ahvennainen, 1996). FDA (2000) has suggested a 7-day shelf life at 5◦C for fresh-cut melons prepared at home for microbiological safety reasons. Sensory shelf life and microbiological shelf life are usually the same; however, they can differ sig- nificantly. For example, white surface formation on “baby” carrots can occur weeks before microbial spoilage is observed even though the peeled carrots are packaged in polyethylene pouches and stored at 2◦C (Bolin & Huxsoll, 1991). Poubol and Izumi (2005) reported that fresh-cut mango made from cultivar “Nam Dorkmai” (50–60% yellow) had a shelf life as short as 2 days at 5◦C due to browning discol- oration and a water-soaked appearance. However, fresh-cut celery of 10-cm sticks or 1.9-cm crescents retained its fresh appearance and flavor up to 28 days when stored at 2◦C (Robbs, Bartz, McFie, & Hodge, 1996a). O’Hare (1994) reported that cut pineapple had a shelf life of more than 5 weeks at 1◦C. Fresh-cut melons (such as cantaloupe and watermelon) prepared by retail stores (store-cut) and displayed on retail shelves typically have a 2-day shelf life. The shelf life of cut cantaloupe that is prepared by fresh-cut processors could be as short as 5 days at 7◦C. Can- taloupe washed with hydrogen peroxide, cut and packed at research laboratories could last for more than 18 days at 4◦C (Sapers, Miller, Pilizota, et al., 2001). Ster- ile diced cantaloupe stored in controlled atmospheres at 4.5◦C had a shelf life of up to 28 days (O’Connor-Shaw, Roberts, Ford, & Nottingham, 1996). Powrie, Wu, and Skura (1988) reported a shelf life of 12 weeks at 1◦C for sliced melon, using modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) and gas-impermeable containers

Politics / Re: My Stand On Who APC Should Field For The Presidency/VP - Femi Fani-kayode by phaat(m): 7:53am On Jan 07, 2014
party does not matter but candidate'nothing wrong with PDP except BAMANGA & GEJ
...lets bamanga resigns and gej to drop 2015 ambition,PDP would refulled like area 1 bus

I will also be disappointed in APC if their flag bearer is a defector from PDP. The election will become PDP vs PDP. They wont have anything to use in their campaign because it will mean nothing is changing and I will therefore advice them to change their logo ("change"wink to something else.[/quote]
