Unfortunately, I don't have any special tips or tricks to tell you. I was just checking the portal repeatedly to move the appointment date for my spouse and I. The only advise I can offer is to keep checking. I was lucky to be online when dates were available.

Date are open now if you are online. I just rescheduled 2 appointments now. Moved them from Sept 2025 to Jun/July 2026.
