Melvyn11: because of pre season friendly. Nwanne, Mourinho is killing us. Steadily turning us against each other. I thought that the real fans/ fake fans issue happened here alone. But it's all over the fan base. Our style of play is steadily regressing and instead of the manager to at least shield the players, he will just throw them under the bus... A bus he parked in the first place. Or do you honestly believe that all is well as it is? |

The England international is contracted to Old Trafford until the summer of 2019. This is a great news to wake up to. But I will be keeping my fingers crossed. If it's not official, I ain't rejoicing yet. |

Unlimited22: Hudson-Odoi, Hazard, Pedro and Willian have the wings covered, although I'd have preferred Willian being sold. The midfield seems okay. The defence needs some tweaking. Courtois is staying, so we have a GK. Unfortunately, we don't have a striker. Don't give up now. Morata will surprise you people with consistent performances. It might not be good performances but he will be consistent in it. Have a little faith man |

Melvyn11: Holy shittttt. You are comparing the impact of ronaldo and Messi who everybody knows their quality and what they offer to Fred who was bought from the frecking Ukrainian league . argument dead on arrival lol And you don't know what Mahrez has to offer? Yet you listed him as a guaranteed bench warmer behind fncking Sterling.? Not that I care about what happens at City or anything but that's your logic. Because Mahrez has proven himself over and over again in the premiership, winning the best player award in the process. But our resident time traveler don go future see am for bench. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by pharod(m): 7:45pm On Jul 31, 2018 |
Melvyn11: Will Fred start for United when the squad is complete? If Mourinho is losing against Leicester and looking for an impact substition with Fred and Fellaini on the bench who do you think he will bring on. Am saying that until Fred proves his worth to mourinho and shows what he brings to the team he wont start over Herrera and Fellaini who he already knows what they offers same with mahrez at City. Later now, they will be calling Dayo Amala turner. No problem, I will indulge you. Going by your logic, Fred will have to prove himself by warming the bench first b4 breaking into the first team, right? So, CR7 too will have to prove himself first. If we sign Messi 2moro, he will have to sit on the bench for Lingard, abi? We have a gaping hole in the midfield which Mourinho tried to fill with McTomminay and Herrera plus Fellaini and failed. That's why Fred was signed. He's not sitting on the bench unless he fails to perform to expectations. And your earlier submission was that Fred is a guaranteed bench warmer when he's yet to play a competitive game for United.. 3rd behind Herrera and Felaini |

raumdeuter: Did Pep sign Alves and Bonnuci? Zlatan that Mourinho gave huge wages, what is he contributing to the team now?
Pep weeded out Sagna Clichy Kolarov Zabaleta Hart Yaya and replaced them with Ederson Walker, Mendy, Laporte. That shows a coach who knows what he s doing. 40M Lindelof cant even make the team and you already told us Fred is a 3rd sbstitute behind Fellaini and Herrera Na this part I never understand at all... How? Av asked him b4 but he refused to answer... |

Melvyn11: Fred is £52M bros and he is not starting for United fact. City paid 60m for mahrez and he is guaranteed a sit on the bench Wow! Time travel is real..! I wonder why I didn't get the memo... So you have watched all the games of 2018/2019 season to know that Fred and Mahrez are guaranteed bench warmers? And Fred is behind Herrera and Felaini? Oga Calm down and listen to reason. The club has backed Mourinho adequately. He called our players average but what did he do? He went on to offer them new contracts. Business is all about buying and selling. Let him clear out deadweights in the club and you will see the owners clamoring to fill the gaps with better players. And by the way.... Mourinho Out! Skimpledawg, If you quote me eh, I will rain fire and brimstone on you. |

As usual, we started defending from the start. Are we ever going to see full time attacking football from Manchester United? It's always 'defend first, then counter'. Not that we are even good at the counter sef. The players are out of sync, misplacing simple passes and stuff. But let's blame that on the bad pitch. We can do much better than this. |

Oasis007:

RW: Sanchez, Chong, Mata.
Sanchez is an experienced Player and can play across the Attack. Mata played mostly as RW/RMF last Season, and he did his Best.
I think Mou prefers his RW drifting inwardly to create and join in buildup play - Mata best suited I guess?.
Finally, Chong has shown flashes during the Pre-Season. I guess he should be tried out in a competitive Game, perhaps he might be the missing Puzzle.
RB: Valencia, Diogo, TFM.
Valencia?! Captain Fantastic. Reliable and solid. Very experienced!
Diogo?! A young Lad with huge Potentials. Though I have not watched him play, but I am having Hope on him.
TFM?! I believe his Loan Spell at Palace was successful. He's a good Lad, and I think he's ready!
LB: Luke, Mitchell, Young.
Luke?! The Dude is ready to cut down anyone on his Way. He's a steel-Shaw, unbreakable Shaw at the moment!
Mitchel?! The Lad is a Bomb with his lightening Pace. Hope he's given a Chance this Season.
Young?! He's like Wine, the older he's getting, the better he's becoming! He ain't getting old, rather young. Do you honestly believe all that?? |
