Received by VAC. : 3rd of November
Collection mail: 3rd of November
Passport Picked up : 3rd of November

I am so happy that I finally got my visa after a very long wait, 1 Canada tourist visa refusal, 1 Uk visit visa refusal and 1 UK student visa refusal.
I almost gave up and almost withdrew my application.

My initial resumption date was on the 25th of September and the deadline was 16th of October but I am thankful to my university for helping me with an automatic deferral to the next intake which starts on 20th of November.
ALL GLORY TO THE ALMIGHTY GOD.
I am still basking in so much 🤩 and to those still awaiting their visas I pray it comes through soon and do not give up.

Thanks for your prompt reply I have escalated for the second time today although I am for janaury 2024 intake.

Please lady dduchess90 can you advise someone who has applied for visa 16th Sept n bio 20th Sept n got an empty nsf while a paid call n one escalation has been done stil no decision yet.
What's might b the possible draw back although I had two usa refusal and I used two banks for pof.

I wish I knew... the paid calls and mails don't yield any updates. They will tell you they will escalate it and you shouldn't make another call until after 15days... I really don't know. To think i paid for priority service. When I asked the interviewer he only said they have a lot of applications and backlogs they are dealing with...

July application still pending till date? That's really bad from ukvi end

I applied over 3 months now, on the 8th of august was my biometrics. Some people even applied in July and are still pending, no one knows r the reason for the delays and it definitely has nothing to do with late applications

Indians too experience same delays check for some in telegram

Same here. I've had 2 interviews last one was on Thursday last week and I am still waiting. School's deadline was yesterday 31st. Hmmm. I believe I should get an update this week.

School said it may be the norm for Nigerians going forward as they don't have this waiting issues with other nationals. Sad.

Biometric Date : 13th of June
Interview: 30th of June
Empty NSF: 4th July

I have done multiple paid emails and still not yet concluded.

The issue now is that my course start date was today and still I haven’t heard from UKVI. I have contacted the school.

Question: Are there any urgent steps I need to take in this kind of situation? Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Hello, I don’t think it’s either because of the location or being priority or not.
I did priority since June 20th in Abuja but I’m yet to get any decision. I did a paid call on 30th and got an empty NSF mail on 3rd of July from DMC. Ever since then I have not heard from them and it’s still at DMC. Just waiting for 15 working days to elapse before I make another paid call.

Hello guys, for those who escalated, did it expedite the process by any means? Did you get any email after the paid call? Then again, how is the paid call charged, I used a UBA card. Application -15th May; Biometrics-22nd May; NSF 28th June, replied/responded the same day. The whole thing is still with the DMC- it'll soon be two months. Absolutely tiring!

You can try to use these apps to get your police clearance online it will cost you 50aed if you choose emirate outside dubai and 220aed if you choose dubai I used Abu Dhabi and it cost me 50aed so since u have stayed in dubai try use your old emirate Identity card and see it works.
Also hope you are not in abscond or any form of violation be it fine or sort.

Good evening everyone,
please is there anyone waiting for visa that’s for September intake? I’m still waiting for mine and my latest enrollment date was moved to 23rd October.
My application is priority and no dependant.

Applied 23rd September
Bio 25th September
NSF mail 26th September no additional documents requested.

I have made 4 paid calls and only received 1 escalation email on the 11th October saying they checked my application and have seen that I was informed my application would take longer because it’s not straightforward. That prior to entry clearance mandatory checks need to be carried out and this can take time. I should be patient. It’s currently 15 working days now. ( I paid priority)

My worry is that my school have only granted me 1 more week to enrollment and advice that if I can’t make it I should withdraw my application. I am so worried. I have put in a lot of money, time on this.
I paid rent already in the UK which tenancy started October 1st
I have moved my flight twice paying over 400k each time.

Please guys if someone receives visa after enrollment deadline and the school says you have to differ and give new cas (which I am praying won’t be my case) do you have to pay for another visa application and IHS fee ? Has anyone had such experience?

I did my biometrics on the 14th as well standard and only receive empty Nsf 3 days ago. I might be schedule for an interview as well. Can you please share the questions that was asked during the interview process and what method was use for the interview?

Please I have the funds for my studies transfered to my personal account and currently I want to change sponsor in my i-20 to myself kindly advise if it is okay or should I say I have gotten the school fees from my sponsor sent into my account during my interview .

Please when is the 60 days due date for one to apply for expedient appointment from my i-20 it has two dates start of class 22nd August and earliest admission date 22nd July. Please experienced colleagues which of these two dates will I use to count.

Please I got an offer for fall admission paid for mrv and sevis fee but deferred to spring 2023 due to passport renewal , can I use this same sevis fee and same mrv because all details still remains same only the extended period in date?
