okeymen: if it is something as simple as marital status that is omitted, then she can just send them a mail with the detail. if it is getting complicated, then she will have to fill out the forms again and email to them. however, i am not sure that is a good example cos if you are married, then there is a whole lot of spouse detail to fill in. and if you are not, then there are several boxes to be left open.appreciate ur effort. its just the marital status. , and she is single. thanks. any other info |
prosperadewunmi: Case no 2014xxxxxxxthanks... but how will she include the ans to the questions e.g marital status. can she send the ans via mail even if she sent the initial forms via dhl |
Hi forumites! A friend of mine got a mail from kcc dat her info is incomplete. pls in wat format will she reply the mail stating the missing info its urgent plsssssss |
VisaOfficer: As soon as she is granted Legal Permanent Resident status, if you are married, she can file an I-130 for you as her spouse. These take around six months to process at NVC, and then we get them for the interviews a couple months later. I know that sounds like a long time when you're in love!Really appreciate! Sorry for bothering u further. How long does it take for her to secure the legal resident permit? Thanks in anticipation. |
Hi V.O! really appreciate ur efforts. my girlfriend won the visa lottery and granted visa. but yet to leave for the States. we have the intention of getting married soon, hopefully before she leaves. I will like to know, can she file a petition for me? How long must she have stayed in the States before she can do dat? Requirements on her part to be able to do dis and also on my part? Eligibility? What must have been done in order to make it easy? Any other suggestions that may be helpful. Thanks. God bless... You are important! |
[quote author=VisaOfficer]Well, you will not be eligible for a B1/B2 non-immigrant visa, as obviously you are an intending immigrant. Your fiancee cannot file a fiance petition for you unless she is an American citizen. If she is still a Legal Permanent Resident, she can marry you and file an I-130 petition for alien spouse through USCIS, by following the instructions at www.uscis.gov .[/quote many thanks. really appreciate |

westcodes: Please clarify, is she your fiancée or wife? In the eyes of the law, fiancée is just fiancée, if you were married before she went for her interview why were you filled in as a derivative?@westcodes. we are not yet married but soonest. i hope to apply for the visa months later, backed with an invitation letter from her. . wat do u think or suggest? |
