Are you really going to cut family loose because they don't bring you the same value? They brought you that value when you're younger because you were completely dependent on them. Now you have a little independence and you think you should just leave them in the dust for not being as "valuable" to you anymore?

Sounds like you come from a broken home. It's too bad you feel this way.
