pato405: I don't have my prim school cert. any suggestions?

Its one of the basic requirement. Its a must to av it. If eventually u are shortlisted wot do u want to tell dem durin d cridentials vettin stage?

emmanuel4fire: Ssc is for combatants, i.e those who go to war to fight. If I am a doctor and chooses to apply as a combatant because I like to go to war, then it's my own choice. Being among the listed professional courses in dssc does not necessarily mean you cannot choose on your own to apply as a combatant.
Why combatant are mainly into fighting dssc's are mainly office military men. Although in some cases they can go to treat (for the medics) and provide logistics support( for psychologist and logist) during war.

Emmanuel4fire, if u come in thru Dssc dosnt mean u can't carry an assault riffle during war, my 2 neighbors here came in thru DSSc, dey are PT officers and both witnessed action in sierra-leone and liberia war. As far as I kno there is no boarder between Dssc and Ssc. Soldiers here are doin "runs" to for operation in Sudan, equitorial guinea, liberia and currently mali. Don't believe in all wot u read on there website oooo, in reality its a different ball game.

emmanuel4fire: There is no course that is not in itself professional. If you are an expert in your field you are regarded as a professional in it. Nigerian army cannot list all the professional courses. So just look for a course closer to yours and apply. I have a friend who is in the army, he told me to apply under pharmacy because what I studied in school is pharmacology. He said it doesn't matter, that most of his friends working in the military pharmacy department are pharmacologist and not pharmacist. So my friend, you can apply and fit yourself to a course closer to your own. Thanks.

Wen I say professional course u should kno wot am talkin abt, if wot u are sayin is d case, den there shouldn't be anytin like SSC, av u really "read" thru d major diff? U don't expect an engine, medicine, nurse, music, archi, french graduate to apply under SSC. Wot am tryin2 say is dat one just av to be carefull not to disqualify oneself even b4 d whole process starts. Av leaved wit dem all my life, I kno wot am talkin abt.

U can't cos pol. Sc. Is not a professional course. Just apply for SSC. I also studied desame course.

Why don't u just go to their website and read thru the criteria for Dssc/ssc very well. But as far as I kno, educationist are recognised wen dey apply thru DSSc dan SSc. So u may not be totally wrong.

U can believe woteva u want to, cos its ur right. So I don't care if u believe me or not. Myself and my friend were d two guys dat approach d ecobank lady on monday. Dey saw d info from the Defence HQ on their system. But the acct number to which we will be was not reflectin. Since dey whre not sure dey told us to come back d followin day (tues). She cudnt just chase us away cos we kept disturbin dem. She collected our 2500 each and told us to fill a teller den she wrote out an acct number from her system. Den we waited and waited and waited, until d machine printed our pins. My friend quickly registered his and his last digit is 0001, meanin he is d first to register nationwide, my code has not bn enterin don't kno why.

If u guys are sayin April u may not be wrong cos next wk Tuesday is in d month of April, after friday and monday holidays. Everytin has started its just dat d site where d pins are is not loadin fast enough or not even loadin at all on ecobank systems, dats not wot we where told but we saw it wit our two naked eyes. The documents needed are ur NYSC certicate, LG cert, age cert. and school(tertiary) cert. After den u will print out 3 tins ur photocard and 2 oda forms. Love u guys.

Stay there abd be decievin ursef, wait till april naw wen banks wld av started hoardin the pin or wen u might av congestion on the registration portal. For the serious guys here my friend was the first to register nationwide 2day. I got the pin after from the ecobank at onipanu. So guys try there 2moro let's c. Let us kno aw far. Wish myself and every1 applyin success.
