Oracle:If they had not left Nigerians guessing as to the true state of health of their President, would wild rumours be making the rounds? Yar'Adua is the President of Nigeria and not the Local Government Chairman of Birnin Kebbi. When will things ever be done right in this country? Our President is weighed down by ill health in a foreign land for the past 2 weeks and government officials are busy denying it. How does this portray us? Nigerians as liars! Why can't they tell us the truth and ask Nigerians to pray for the President? I don't blame them. The blame lies with Obasanjo. If they are allowed us to choose our leaders without tinkering with the votes; a nation of more than 140million people will not come up with an unhealthy man as President. We are watching!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am pissed!!!!!!!!!!! It's really annoying!!!!!!!!!!! No light; No water; no good road; no security; no good education; no health services; no future!!!! |
He has come and gone. Only God knows where he is now. I would say that he did more harm than good. A lot of people are useless/mad today because of the indian hemp smoked freely in his shrine. A number of people are also dead/HIV positive due to the kind of lifestyle he lived. I still have a copy of the Weekend Concord newspaper that carried a story on his life and time. He was a careless radical. Drug ruins/kills. Majek Fashek is a living example. |
I wonder if this subject is worthy of a debate. The story is clear enough. The man in question is a mentally sick guy. No sane human being would threaten to kill self if the President doesn't give him money. Let's discuss other issues PLEASE. |
texazzpete:I strongly believe that the "ARE YOU CLOWNS" comment in your post is meant for the elders in your household. I strongly do. You uncultured brat. |
The mere fact that someone is being deported does not make him/her an animal. EVEN ANIMALS ARE GIVEN BETTER TREATMENT WHEN THEY ARE CAPTURED AND BEING RETURN TO THE JUNGLE. The whole thing smacks of racism. BA could have handled the situation better than it did. I salute the courage of the Nigerians that stood up for humanity. For those who witness injustice being meted out and keep silent, WHAT GOES ROUND COMES AROUND. Gen Victor Malu was in charge of the Army when Odi community in Bayelsa was razed down by the military, he justified the action. When he retired, his own community in Benue state was razed down by the same Army. A similar thing occured on a Virgin Atlantic flight that I was on from London late last year. The white guard who was accompanying a female deportee to Lagos decided to handcuff her throughout the duration of the flight. A struggle ensued and other security men were called in. It was a terrible experience, four men trying to forcefully overpower a lady - her grunting and all. We stood up to them and told them they couldn't do that. A nigerian had died as a result of the same treatment a few weeks earlier and it was in the new. The Virgin Atlantic staff did not intervene. At the end of the day, wisdom prevailed and she was not shackled! We had a peaceful flight. Hypocrisy, racism, lack of common sense, arbitrariness is the problem with these whites security guys. |
