BornSad: Why do I have this feeling you still don't get it clearly?
After each semester, everyone moves to the immediate next semester. After your first semester, you move on to the second semester. That same period will be the first semester of those that will be admitted at that time. By the time they are moving on to their second semester, you will be going for your third. So at every point in time, they are people doing first semester and others doing second semester. It all depends on which batch you started with.
As for the payment, like I have said it severally here, how much you pay for any semester is BaseFee+ExamFee+CourseReg. Most times, the base fee is either 40k or 41k. The remaining part of the payment depends on how many courses you taking in a semester. Third semester is omitted here cause, officially, it does not exist. The maximum credit load for the first semesters is designed to accommodate all your courses including project. Spreading them across three semesters (i.e going for a third semester) is a matter of convenience. five star for u bro! am really grateful. |

BornSad: Good evening,
There are two batches per year. The January set and the July set. For the January set, their first semester starts in January and for the July set, in July. So you might be doing your first semester now while someone else is doing his second.
A new student is simply is newly admitted student (first semester of course). A returning student first semester is an old student who is doing the first semester of the current session (maybe first semester of his second, third or fourth year). A returning student second semester is an old student who is doing the second semester of the current session (maybe second semester of his second, third or fourth year)
Cool? thank bro:; bt wot of those of us new master studt dat has 3 semester; my question is as we wu start first semester now; do we continue countin till we reach our third semester irrespective of whether some re in dea own 1st or 2nd semest. 2. hw do we (masters) know d amount to pay for 3rd semester since it s not mention here......i.e -new student -returnin student 1st semester -returnin studt 2nd semst my concern ;hw much i wu pay for 3rd semest?? |

BornSad: Congrats!
The compulsory fee was 41k for us. I wouldn't know if it has been changed. Yes, you can load your e-wallet with enough cash for every payment. I said, "load your e-wallet" cause that's what you're basically doing when you pay in at the bank. After the payment, you can now log onto your portal to use the cash for anything - basically exam and course registration - and view your balance at any point. Exam registration fee is simply 2k per paper. After paying, it reflects on your e-wallet, you log in and use the cash for course registration. Print out the course registration slip and take it to school for clearance. You can also register for your exams if they are already available on the portal or do that later with the fund remaining on your wallet. A stamped print-out of the exam registration slip and your ID card are the things you need to enter the exam hall with when the time comes.
Note that when you go to the bank to pay, they will tell you cannot pay more than a certain amount. This doesn't mean you can't fill your e-wallet at a time, it simply means you need to use more than one teller for that.
Hey, I found this for you!

BornSad: Hello,
Like I have explained earlier, a lot of things interplay to determine one's school fees in a semester including the number of avaialable courses, the number of electives you dropped and the ones you picked etc. .. So, we might not necessarily be paying the same amount. A good budget might be 160k for both semesters. I spent 78k in first semester and 83k in second semester but then, I didn't drop any elective.
Best of luck. does dis amount included the project? |
