My heart brode at the sight of a plantain seller at my junction whose son has three mansions in ekpoma, with fleet of cars and lots of friends yet this woman still sell roasted plantain (the same business she had been running before the son became rich) and visibly look like someone that's terribly lacking in finance.
Could she be pretending so as not to attract people attention even with her yahoo son's excess money? Or did her son whose lives in the same town fail to uplift his mother after financial breakthrough? I can't comprehend this, fellas please I need your input. With the kind of money the son has, you would expect he would open a big supermarket for his mother by now. I have seen the same thing with some parents whose children live abroad.

Good afternoon, truth is you can't use mine to determine yours if you begin because we are not in the same location, there's more profit in phone accessories compared to the sales of phone itself except you have multiple millions to buy directly from China, which makes you an importer/distributor/wholesaler. I am a retailer, thus, I buy from distributors. For normal screen guards one of the fastest selling item in the shop, I buy for ₦200 naira and sell at ₦1000, some customers like yahoo boys pay ₦1500. I give u price based on how I perceive you! YES! The screen guard you have on your phone. It's that profitable, there's another we call privacy, we buy ₦500 and resell at ₦1500. I buy iPhone , typeC and Android cords for ₦600 and resell at ₦1500. Extremely fast chargers I buy at ₦2700 and resell at ₦4000 sometimes ₦4500 and ₦5000 depending on the customer bargaining power but 4k being the last price. For button phones; you make little profit from it, same with Android phones because people know the prices of phone from interacting with one another even before they get to your shop.
A week, i Make an average of 70k to 100k in profit, but in raining seasons that can be devided by 2 because u Will experience low turn out of customers as a result of the weather. The 70k profit is for sales of phone accessories alone and it comes with serious dedication and availability in the shop as customer can walk into the shop at anytime so it requires sitting in your store for long hours. There are other things I added like POS, Charging, Sales of mineral (I have a deep freezer in d store), recharge cards, SIM cards, data etc. I have a phone repairer in front of my shop, repairing and remitting money to me on daily basis. When I started 4 years ago, I open 8am to close sometimes 11:30 pm at night. My wife had to cry for me to reduce my closing time, for my safety at least, because I carry cash for POS around. But now because of competitors, the profit and sales margin is reducing day by day and and overall, I record the sales of phone accessories as the main source of revenue now, the rest is just to attract customers to the shop and comes with petty profit.

Against all counsel, only mom on my side, I stubbornly married my working class PREGNANT wife at 24 years of age, wifey too was also 24 at the time (had Federal job) in 2019 who hand her salary over to me every month to start my business (because I was jobless at the time of my wedding) in addition to the previous loans she had secured for me to opened the shop. Not saying we are rich, but we are not poor either. We are almost there with three beautiful daughters.

I own a shop,I sell phone accessories, charge people's phones, POS, sells Button phones, minerals and recently added SIM sales. There are too many competitors around me now compared to when I started so it's really tough and time-consuming.

Nothing brings quarrel, argument and fight between couples more than lack of money to go to market or pay children's school fees or rent. Money issues causes 90% of fight between husband and wife.

During my puberty age ,I didn't know how to take care of my armpit , I didn't smell nice at all, I knew I was smelling bad but had no idea what to do, my parents were too busy and all they tell us is wash your armpit, that doesn't solve the smell, as a matter of fact I spend all the soap and water in the bathroom washing just the armpit . Sometimes I would sit down and cry. I gradually withdrew from people and became so timid . Each time I remember my childhood it makes me hate my parents, parents should do more to care for their children abeg. This ungrateful lass doesn't even know what you are doing for her . In my case on faithful day we had a female visitor and I noticed she was always rubbing and spraying something in her under arm, that was how I wrote the name and used all my saving to buy my first deodorant . And the journey of smelly puberty ended

I wedded my wife at 25 on the dot. Had my first daughter the same year. Now six years later, no much regret except that in-laws don't respect u since u don't have enough money to impress them with. These people don't believe that success comes with time. NO RESPECT FROM IN-LAWS SINCE U CANT MEET UP WITH FINANCIAL EXPECTATIONS. I knew this before now but my woman talked me into it, plus a pregnancy had occurred already. Combining feeding, house rent, school fees, other bills with in-laws self-inflicted problems that need money to be solved is something that can send a young man to an early grave,if God is not on your side. My saving grace was that my wife is a government worker and contribute massively to the upkeep of the family, more reason you in-laws can't really respect u as a man, some will think you wife is the one feeding you since I had no known salary job, I am a business man. Married men whose wives have dependent parents and lots of younger siblings will relate to this. If not that I married my wife legally, maybe by now my father in law would have come to bundle my wife back to his house, or worse, constantly reminds me how she's not my wife. I won't support my son getting married at that age, never!
