But that seemed to be to the fair’s benefit, allowing for a more relaxed way to visit over 150 booths ­in a spacious layout. R Kelly sexually assaulted a woman at his Chicago studio nearly two decades ago, where he locked her up without food and water, the woman testified at the R&B singer's trial today.
The woman, who identified herself as Sonia, told jurors in Brooklyn federal court she was kept at least two days in a locked room at Mr Kelly's Chocolate Factory studio in 2003.

Leading tax and business advisory firm, Andersen, has questioned how the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) arrived at the N1.8 trillion tax bill it slapped on MultiChoice Nigeria, warning that it could harm the reputation of both parties.

Chairman of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency(NDLEA) Brig.-Gen. Buba Marwa, said the large quantity of Captagon, a brand of methamphetamine drug, seized at Apapa Port last week, has been valued at N5.8 billion.
Marwa, who marks his 68th birthday tomorrow, said the seizure of the drug was the first in Sub-Sahara Africa.
One suspect has been arrested so far.

In a related matter, Ars Technica reports that the Competition and Markets Authority, the UK antitrust watchdog group, has been investigating Facebook’s purchase of Giphy. With the social media giant gaining control over the website that hosts thousands of animated GIFs, they are again being charged with squelching competition. Furthermore, CMA argues that in order to address these competition issues, the company should sell off Giphy. The CMA’s final report is due this October.

FIFA has published a report on international transfers in the men’s game during the 2011-2020 period.
The report confirms that transfer market activity increased steadily over the past decade.
From 11,890 transfers conducted in 2011 to a peak of 18,079 in 2019, a total of 133,225 international transfers and loans of professional players took place, while USD 48.5 billion was spent on transfer fees during the period.
