France will call this democracy and call Bokina faso dictatorship.
When it favours them, you can rule for 100yrs in the name of democracy but if you go against them for 1 day, they will demonise you like Gadaffi.
Paul Biya doesn't even know he won an election, the man is far gone. Same love they show to Paul Biya is what they are extending to Tinubu, the people can go to hell |

Romance › Re: May You Not Meet Your Original Partner After You Are Married by PHIPEX(m): 1:35pm On Oct 25, 2025*. Modified: 5:09pm On Oct 25, 2025 |
Kobojunkie: While on the surface, it may seem selfish, it isn't right to turn marriage into some sort of hostage situation for your partner. As the other partner, you do yourself absolutely no good trying to hold on to someone who does not love or value you in a relationship. (It should really gross you out that you are in a relationship with someone whose heart is already elsewhere.) If he/she wishes to leave, let him leave. It isn't necessary to guilt him/her into staying, nor is it sensible to try to force him/her to stay, as that only makes one into some sort of monster and not a partner.
It is better to leave the marriage completely once one realizes one no longer has happiness or joy to find within it, than to remain and have the other spouse waste his/her life dedicated to a partner whose heart and mind are elsewhere. And worse, have the children grow up watching their parents live unhappily and miserably, thinking themselves partly to blame for it. It is wrong and should not be condoned, no matter what. It's simply a lack of commitment that makes the grass always look greener from afar. If you water you own garden it will be green like others. If you fail to water your own garden and keep eyeing your neighbour's garden your long throat will never end. If after the 2nd partner you meet the next best one, I hope you will also advice the partner to move and not be caged and on and on it goes |

That was how you all left Kanu to himself and started supporting Peter Obi. You left your Biafra to support Nigeria?! You are a projector, projecting your inadequacy into others. Politics › Re: Who Lives Better: Income Of ₦1.5 Million In Nigeria Or $1,000 In The US? by PHIPEX(m): 9:35am On Oct 25, 2025 |
DoTheNeedful: I have been living in the US for almost a decade, and I can tell you that the value of $1,000 in the US is less than 90k in Nigeria.
It is surprising that many of you, including graduates, don't understand that you cannot just arbitrarily convert dollars or pounds to naira in this context.
You cannot start a family anywhere in the US with $1, 000. You would need at least a job that pays you $6,000 per month to think of marriage. An ideal monthly salary would be around $10,000.
With 1.5 million in Nigeria, you can afford to marry a jobless partner, support two children, and own a decent car.
You could eat out in Nigeria with 2k, but eating out in the US would cost you around 25 dollars (35k). I get a haircut every month for $50 (75k) in the US. In Nigeria, I could get the same haircut for around 1k.
If you have a baby in the US, you would need to spend around $2,000 (3 million) per month on day care. In Nigeria, you would pay maybe 50k.
I laugh each time I see some posts on social media converting people's salary in UK/US/CA to naira, thinking the naira equivalent of those figures have the same impact in those countries. It is unfortunate that some people have such mentality.
That being said, if you manage to have some savings in places like US and you bring such to Nigeria, you could tie up a project or more. This is the response I was looking for. People convert dollar earnings but hardly think of the expenses side. They think of earning in dollar and think of expenses in Naira, when they get over there, they meet a rude shook. |
Politics › Re: Oseni Rufai Replies To Bayo Onanuga Calling Him "Economic Illiterate" by PHIPEX(m): 9:49pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
Obiedun: The data below exposed the poor mental and financial thinking of the Tinubu critics....
Ghana debt = $50billion Ghana population = 35million Ghana debt per person = $1,430
South Africa Debt = 300billion Population - 55million Debt per person - $5,454
Qatar debt - $93billion Population - 3million Debt per person - $31,000
Libya debt - $60billion Population - 7million Debt per person -$8,750
Saudi Arabia - $391billion Population - 54million Debt per person - $7,854
Gabon debt - $15 billion Population - 2.2 million Debt per person - $6,750
Egypt Debt - $261billion Population - 118million Debt per person - $2,300
Angola debt - $64billion Population - 39 million Debt per person - $1,680
Nigeria Debt - $100billion Population - 240million Debt per person - $414.
Na poor man and poor thinkers dey fear debt....
From the data above ... It's obvious that Nigeria doesn't have debt Crisis... What Nigeria have is revenue crisis....
Compare to it's peers globally.... Nigeria have the lowest debt per Capita on Earth
Tinubu directly and indirectly grew the revenue of Lagos by 28,000% in 26 years.... The first of it's kind in the whole of Africa....
With such a man as Nigeria president....
Tinubu would grow Nigeria revenue to a point where Nigeria can borrow enough to fix it's over $1trillion infrastructural deficits....
Written by Onovughe Igwe This is the height of economic illiteracy. This is similar to saying a poor man can borrow as much as a rich man because he has plenty children |

Nazgul: I don't know about the rest of the countries on that list. But you see that 4.5m they wrote for Nigeria, it's a lie from the pit of hell.
Cos it's almost impossible to be homeless in Nigeria, you'll sha see where you'll squat and if nobody in the city accommodates you, there's definitely a space for you in your village to lay your head unless you're an orphan.
USA has more homeless people than Nigeria. Have you seen an Almajiri with a hone? How many Almajiri are in Nigeria? Can you see the correlation that the countries at the top have large Muslim populations? |

It takes a zero degree level of impunity for anyone to believe it's right to lockup someone perpetually with out justice.
I can imagine how many white apartheid supporters of South African supported the locking up of Nelson Mandela for 27yrs. They called Mandela a terrorist.
Until 2008, Mandela was still on US list of wanted terrorist. The easiest way for govts to do away with people they don't like is to tag them terrorists

Foreign Affairs › Re: Body Of Palestinian The Israeli Army Used As Human Shield Handed To Israel by PHIPEX(m): 12:46pm On Oct 18, 2025 |
Namaster: The PDFile's PISS deal is a joke!
Both Israel and Gaza have resorted to PASSIVE-AGGRESSIVE tactics.
Israel, the GENOCIDAL one, have returned bodies of Palestinians CHAINED even in death to demonstrate their willingness to embrace EVIL.
Palestine have NOW returned Palestinian bodies to Israel to demonstrate that they already KNOW this.
Israel is the NUMBER ONE cause of unrest in the Middle East. They have MURDERED several Palestinians since the PISS deal was signed.
In fact, the ink wasn't dry on the PISS deal before they started to BOMB Lebanon.
In the past 2 years, Israel has BOMBED: 1. Iran. 2. Yemen. 3. Qatar. 4. Syria. 5. Lebanon. 6. Gaza.
All with the AID and BLESSING of their Western Sugar Daddies.
Meanwhile despite the fact that it's Israel doing ALL the bombings, NOBODY has dubbed them what they really are—TERRORISTS!
You CANNOT be a sane, non-fanatic person and not see that Israel is a TERRORIST NATION. Oh yes, Isreal woke up and bombed those countries right? I assumed you were in a farm without Internet access to watch when Hesbollah and Houthi were bombing Isrealnon behalf of Palestine. You laughed but now you cry when the pendulum swong tonthe other direction Am sure you are not aware of a whole country called Iran whose slogan is "Death to Isreal, death to America". When it favours you it becomes a jihad but when it backfires it becomes genocide. Some of you are silent as the herdsmen decimate the Christian middle belt of Nigeria, killing and burning one village after another but once the pendulum swings again, it becomes an attack on Islam |
