Politics › Re: Tax Reform Bill: Nobody Should Trust FG, Oyedele Rhetorics - TonyeBarcanista by PHIPEX(m): 3:33pm On Dec 03, 2024
femisplash:
Bearing in mind that 97% of revenue was used for debt servicing and we were also borrowing to pay for subsidy.
As an MD of an organization, if you met a net revenue deficits with high debt ratio on your company's balance sheet, what would you do?.
But the online Sai baba and Emilokan choir members including the current "MD" were insuLting everyone when we warned of the excessive borrowing of the past 10yrs?? They borrowed and wasted it. I remebre Fashola defending the borrowing that it will lead to massive economic progress, how far today?

You even called Obi Names. Why should all Nigerians now pay the price for your inefficiency and indiscretion?
Agriculture › Re: Can I Still Plant Cassava In Early December? by PHIPEX(m): 2:24pm On Dec 03, 2024
Alsenora:
Have you confirmed that your village and his location are in the same ecological zone to conclude it will grow.
You might be right but he asked an open ended question.

So tell me the ecological zones in Nigeria (Excluding the desert North) where Cassava planted in December can not grow? Am sure you heard me reference states on flood plain in Nigeria which shows they have similar ecology
Agriculture › Re: Can I Still Plant Cassava In Early December? by PHIPEX(m): 1:32pm On Dec 03, 2024
Cassava is planted in my village between Nov and early January. So I will say yes.

For context, all the area that experience perennial/annual flooding (August to October) plant their Cassava between the period above because that's when the floods would have receeded

They do all these with zero irrigation yet massive harvest
Politics › Re: Rivers State Ndigbo Asks Ijaw National Congress Not To Meddle In Affairs by PHIPEX(m): 11:48am On Dec 03, 2024
hopexter:
It's the ohaneze that needs to stay out. Rivers is not Igbo land and the Ijaws and Ikwerres have repeatedly warned the Igbos to take their socio cultural group out of Rivers but no you Igbos are looking for fight then later look for who to blame. What you are trying to do in Lagos is the same thing you doing in Rivers. Begging for unity and try to grab lands.
I can bet you have never been to your village since you were born
Politics › Re: The North Has Not Effectively Presented Its Position On Tax Reform Bill - Dawisu by PHIPEX(m): 6:44pm On Dec 02, 2024
emkz:
North has no position apart from suspicion and the claim by Babagana Zulum that they are not ready. He failed to say when they'd be ready.

The bill is going to benefit states with a lot of consumption and economic activity. Like Kano, Kaduna. It will push states to settle down and become productive.

I shared the following elsewhere:

Northerners complain that budget is against them even when they all sat there when the budget was passed. One of them lied that Tinubu was operating a budget different from what the Senate passed. Peter Onwuabasi Obi (POO) rushed to sew his ill thought-out twitter tantrums to blast Tinubu based on a lie Abdul Ningi said.

The question I have for northerners is:

Do you want Nigeria to move forward or you want to keep your people in perpetual poverty? Why can't you implement economic activities to empower your people so you can make more money in taxes?
Even when it's about the North, the cowardice in you must bring Obi or Igbos into it. You better maintain your lane and face the North

Politics › Re: Data Shows Lagos Gets 17% Of VAT Contributions As Imo Takes 1,716% by PHIPEX(m): 7:15am On Nov 28, 2024
owobokiri:
Lol,
And some people liked your post? You are unbelievable. This means that the South East voted against the South East interest to spite the South South? Do you know that the South East states have oil deposits? So how can they vote against a bill that will give them more money? Looks like you're a lying machine. Relentless revisionist.

Actually it was the South West that voted with the north against the proposal for derivation funds for oil producing states. Your slippery South West. You started this during the Abacha National conference". The whole South met. Led by Ekwueme, it was agreed amongst the southern delegates that the South should argeu for derivation funds. The South West agreed to this "on principles".

The South moved in as a bloc but when it was time to vote, the perennial backstabbers from the South West went with the core North and voted against the bill. That was how only the South East and South South stood for derivation funds. Militancy will ensue in full force later and intimately helped to reset some brains and the rest is history.
You just stated the fact, very slippery people and champion of revisionists See how it was captured in this report. As usual, the SW goes againt the Southern interest then years later use the media propaganda to paint the East Black and claim to love the South South

Politics › Re: Data Shows Lagos Gets 17% Of VAT Contributions As Imo Takes 1,716% by PHIPEX(m):
DomPerignon:
Do you know that prior to Yaradua's intervention and passage of the 13% derivative to oil producing states , all SE states got far much higher as federal allocation than oil producing states in the SS?

Obasanjo proposed 25% to oil producing states but SE legislators in the NASS aligned with the core north to kill the bill while hiding under opposition to Obasanjo's third term agenda.

Have you heard any of their elected officials wade into the VAT issue?

I rest my case.
You are so poisonous, see the crap you spewed without a single data or fact. Same oil dichotomy bill that passed in 2002 when an Igbo man (Pius Anyim) was Senate President? Why will Igbos that have huge oil and gas deposit vote against their interest?

Why are you all so devilishly hateful of.anything Igbo? I really wonder the quantum of hate and lie these axis of lies propagated against Igbos before social media came

Most health coverage as how? Do you even know what you are saying?

The SW still has the most health facilities in the country. Even all those medical insurance work better in the West relative to other parts of the country.
propaganda = half truths. The rate you all are trained on propaganda is legendary

But one thing with propaganda is that you can convince everyone that you are richer than Dangote but you know you are as poor as a church rat

Politics › Re: South East Is Political Not A Tribe,Igbos Are Indigenous To 13 States In Nigeria by PHIPEX(m): 7:53pm On Nov 24, 2024
kasim155:
This is how some of u write false history about other people and their region. The Egun and the Aworis are sub groups of the Yoruba tribe, we also have the Ijebu as indigene of Lagos. So because Igbo are not indigenous to Lagos doesn't mean that Yoruba are not.
Am sure you wouldn't be this defensive when it's about Ikwerre in Rivers and Igbos in Delta State. You will forget there is something called sub groups.

Very easy to write articles that tear Igbo apart but whe. It gets to Lagos Indigenes you all get touchy

I prefer the northern part of the City.
It's a pity lives now worth less than a trash in the South East. Owerri used to be my favorite place, but South East is a no-go area, at least, for now.
I guess the millions of people living there are all dead now?

Statistically, the South East is the safest region in Nigeria by number of robbery, murder etc even with the politically motivated UGM. So drop the negative sentiment

Enough of the negative reportage of SE issues, talk with data not sentiment

Politics › Re: Lagos Youths Reject Owerri Coalition’s Endorsement Of Seyi Tinubu For Governor by PHIPEX(m): 7:46am On Nov 21, 2024
Are they trying to do Ronu for Seyi Tinubu? Is it because Seyi will soon become "Shinedu"?

So 2 "Shinedu" will soon contest for Lagos seat in 2027.
One in LP and another in APC. This shows the futility of Ronus tribalism camouflaged as ethnic nationalism

yoruboid:
Just imagine states were allowed to collect and control their VAT

Apart from Anambra, which is just about N700m higher, Ekiti has more VAT revenue than all the states in the SE
Always Anambra and SE. Why not compare Anambra with Ogun that claimed to generate IGR above USA and Europe income combined?

Inferiority complex dey worry una
