i just checked for paystarmobile updates and u wont believe what i saw. It has been totally modified and it includes a browser that moves like "light". the costs are the same, "almost zero". I'm going crazy here. i had to run to tell my nairaland peops. www.paystarmobile.com/en.jar |

Dual Core:yeah your cred still goes. but its ok men, ---for me though. have u ever tried exploring the potentials of the rss part? you'll be amazed at the incredible stuuff the internet has moved to rss feeds |
@men its been a while, i actualy thot guys would have forgotten about this thread by now. Im glad to see that people are on the search to make thier existing phones the next best thing since, uhhhhhmmm, slice bread? @dual core been a while man. yeah, lynx and reichx are rite. you'll need to get a monthly pin of N1500. I guess paystarmobile is ready to take this public. lets see how that goes. but i can bet it will be a BLAST. |
thanx alot. it simply is the core of the earth and the moving arrow signifies that they are continually making business work, well something like that. |

@BIGel Been a while since i saw a post from u on nairaland or on paystarmobile. alls well?, |
@dragnet phishaman:Like i said, if i am wrong i'll take it back, going by the numbers and costing (which is what it is all about), it is absolutley not a good business move. anyone doing that is either desperate or not thinking!!!! A great business play will take into consideration; Return on investments, the brand ,the furure and the competition |
just think its a ridiculous move even if it is true, it costs roughly an avereage of N25 to print and distribute a scratch card and thats excluding the amount of money to be made by the retailes. Now, if they(MTN) made N50 cards, they will be at a serious loss and will be destroying thier brand. The cards she saw might have been produced by one of these distributors. however, i might be wrong. if i am, ---- i'll take it back |
just read everyones comments and its sad what i see. first of all, its way beyond the logo. logos dont mean anything without the culture , the people, the business and the way of doing business that stands behind it. Intercontinental bank was RE-BRANDING- the logo is only the smallest part of it. Infact, what they created was not a logo. the former one was a logo. this is an avatar - an animated image for identity! when it omes to RE-Branding, i think theyve done a good job in general , even if i dont think the logo and colour scheme was the best. Second of all, what should be much more annoying to us all is that it had to be done by a company outside nigeria. Well i cant blame them, only a hand full of Nigerian Brand firms have shown themselves worthy, Most of them still contract it out. check this out.

thanx 4 the advice! is this ok? prefer an iconless desktop, well, just like my real desktop (where everything is in a drawer somewhere).

photo editing: Photoshop CS2 or CS3 Graphic Design for adverts: a combination of Photoshop CS2 and Corel 9,12 or 13 will be perfect |
@lawalmd Thanx alot man, checked it out. its like you said, Lawalmd:for me its a keeper, well, for the mean tyme. Hope youve tried out some of the baddest software people have spoken of here. |
hahahahahahahhahahahahahhahahaaaha, |
ah well, what can i say?, we'll just have to wait for that day to come. @Bigel Have you tried chatting with pictures?, what are the charges like with your network?, its sooooo cool, i wonder if its cheap as well. |
when u get on, add me o, just search n find, enof nairalanders are on |
all day , everyday!!!!!
|
hmmmmm, i think if the re-branding strategic play will give them global advantage they should take it. obviously Nigeria isnt thier strong point now, so y should they make decisions based on that. However, permit me to contradict myself by saying, Forbes recently metioned that Nigeria is the fastest growing telecoms industry in the world followed by india or was it singapore, so i think that if celtel , zain, is future minded it will consider NIGERIA!!!!! |
@kem Thanx alot. i definately didnt think this was going to turn out this way, you will find the best of the best on this thread. Im talking bout mobile phone software and mobile phone techys. I'd advise you follow thier path. ![]() |

@dualcore men, i slept offf and i think the network started misbehaving, Dual Core:infact y dont we give it to her now!!!!!! its phishaman and sawyerrken |
@fellybabe ok. heres what we'll do. lets start afresh. First go to www.paystarmobile.com, goto downloads, choose download to pc. then download. when that this done, connect your usb and transfer app to your phone. install and then open the application. it will run a test for your network. if all goes well then it will give this message , "supported , wap and internet". then the next step is to register. please make sure that when u are registering you select "internet" for connection type. its an easy ride from there. let me know if you get stuck. my messenger is x_sinnah@yahoo.com |
@in2gold i didnt use any vector art. created everything from scratch. all of these ones were done on corel draw. howverer any vector based software can acheive that effect. |
