Exactly....go to the administrative building, go to d registrar's office, admission office, if possible tell them u want to see d VC..u scored above 50 y shouldn't u b admitted is ur right to know why...u didn't cheat to make such high score u worked n read hard for it...but some of u will just seat@ home expecting Uniosun to admit u just because u score high..hmm next jamb meant ur potion. I strongly advised everyone here especially those with 45 above is not yet late there are 2 more underground lists to be released by uniosun before January 5th next year..so better start making moves now, seating n complaining @ home won't help u..tell ur parents too to support in making this moves and please I DON'T DO ADMISSION RUNS for that will want to contact me...

Juwonmania: am not supporting the school nor the students, but we students don't think twice before acting.... the 5k you are paying is for the damages caused by those who destroyed the school property not the parent forum fee now..... On the verge of restoring peace.....

With deep sense of loss, I humbly write this communique to clarify issues bothering on students meeting in Ikire, yesterday, after the internment of Mr. Wale Farawe, a rare gem who bid the world goodbye on Monday.

I ordinarily wouldn't have wrote this but for dilution of information making around as against peace restoring agenda of the meeting by students of Osun State University-Ikire campus.

With sadness, the students after the burial converged to discuss state of the campus and way forward. At the meeting Abubarka Basit, the president elect, Faculty of Humanities and Culture, who presided over the sober meeting therein described the demise of Mr. Farawe and Binuyo David, as a great loss to the academic community. He wished other victims of the August 15th, 2014 unpleasant accident speedy recovery.

Contrary to the said diluted information, Basit urged the students at the meeting to persuade their parents to attend September 6th, 2014 meeting with the school management so as to diligently resolve the lingering crisis on the campus.

The meeting started with sober reflection and discussed issues were purely targeted at restoring peace back to the campus. More so, issues in connection with August 15th "violent protest" were not only discussed but suggestions, observation and correction were highlighted. I prefer to call the said "violent protest" a riot!

After minutes of brainstorming, concerned students all agreed that parents should stand their ground and pray the school management to temper justice with mercy, look into and correct accumulated factors that led to the vandalism, knowing fully well that paying damages is inevitable.

In the interest of justice, peace and progress, students were also charged to desist from fuelling the crisis. They were also urged to always tender their grievances politely and constructively.
