They mention more than six cities/countries including Turkey and London but it's Isreal that is your problem Mattswaggz: Should Putin do that it'll be a dangerous escalation towards global tensions...... Israel might want to fight back to make a statement against violating their sovereignty but they're hardly a match for Russia.
Their relationship might go further downwards as well......Putin should ensure that he has exhausted all diplomatic platform to get Israel to stop aiding Ukraine(that's if this report is true) before resorting to use of force. |
Education › Re: Phd Holder Shares Payslip From Time As Covenant University Lecturer by physics12: 12:20pm On Mar 15 |
You are so so wrong. I work in a private university. Nothing like housing benefit or free education for your kids. If there is accommodation, you will be charged from your monthly salary. There will be some waiver but it's never tangible enough. So get your facts right SixSeven: I am not going to defend anyone but I know lecturers get some extra benefits. I am wondering why a lecturer will post his payslip, your personal information to prove what point? Back to the extra benefits, one of them will be housing. I don't know what the accommodation was. Some schools have staff quarters which is housing benefit and when people compare salaries, they forget that part. If you have children, they may go to that school free as a staff.
Their academic calendars typically include long breaks between semesters. Although lecturers still do some work during these periods, they usually have more downtime than many corporate roles. Compared with many private-sector jobs, lecturers may teach only a few hours per week. Much of the rest of the time can be self-scheduled. Outside exam periods, schedules can be relatively flexible.
Lecturers often have access to sports centers, libraries, staff clubs, campus transportation systems and other amenities that are usually free or very inexpensive.
When people compare lecturers’ salaries to private-sector salaries in Nigeria, they often ignore the cost savings from housing, schooling, healthcare, and utilities. Those benefits can reduce major household expenses that private-sector workers typically pay fully out of pocket. |

I believe there is more money for states to spend. Federal government must ensure that these monies given to states and councils are judiciously used. Citizens must also turn their attention to state government. Minimum wage must be paid not on adjustment method but on relevant calculate matrix. States should begin to implement viable projects that are people oriented. We should begin to invest more on electricity generation and distribution, good housing, health care, quality education, portable water, good road network, etc. God bless Nigeria and may He send us good leaders. How does this concern a candidate who lost election? If our leaders are doing well with economy, then we will all be able to pay for band A even A+. Nigerians are very hard working people. You don't need to be told, but bad leadership erodes the gains of our hard work. Let the leaders go to work, improve economy and purchasing power and leave d rest for hardworking Nigerians Azazyel: Look I don't care about tinubu or any other contestant. Hope you know that constant power supply is expensive. Are most Nigerians willing to pay more for quality power supply? I can tell you without mincing words that many places in Lagos right now enjoy close to 24hrs light but they are paying more. In my area, we enjoy at least 20hrs light daily cos we are on band A and we recharge lots of units cos of the constant light and sometimes I even have to turn off power just to conserve units. Even areas on band B here enjoy at least 15hrs light so what are you talking about? Something happened at Ajah recently. Some of the residents marched to EKEDC office demanding to be downgraded from band A and B cos they were spending so much on electricity. Their prayers were answered and they were downgraded. Some to band C, D and E. Do you know how many places have been downgraded last year? Go to advanced countries like the US and see whether electricity is cheap then you'll understand. If you need your feeder to be upgraded, raise the discussion amongst people in charge of your area and march there to demand an upgrade but just get ready to pay more. Simple! This is not a tinubu issue. Nobody send your candidate to lose election |

Stale and useless excuse all the time nairalanda1: 1. When Ukraine was part of the great CCCP, it had nuclear stations built by Moscow.
The problem is, all that nice infrastructure cost the CCCP a lot of money. And at the end of the day, it led to it's collapse
2. Average prices of power in Ukraine is 0.1 dollars. Residential.
Nigeria, it's 0.036 dollars. Add the fact that 60% of Nigerians bypass meters, and forty percent of Nigerians don't pay for power and less than 20% of Nigerians pay a cost reflective tarrifs for power, things that don't happen in Ukraine and you will see why we dont have power, regardless of who is in charge

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Church Attendance Cannot Take You To Heaven by physics12: 9:20am On Jan 19 |
Is there anyone that said Church attendance will take anyone to heaven? Or you want to discourage those who go to church and massage the ego of those who don't? This your write up can easily cause an already struggling child of God to back track with the view that going to Church is not important Sunnyshinylight: Why Church Attendance Cannot Take You to Heaven
Key Text Ephesians 2:8–9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith… not by works.” Introduction Many people believe: “I go to church every Sunday.” “I was born in church.” “I serve in the choir / usher / department.” But the truth is:
👉 Church attendance can bring you into a building, but only Christ can bring you into heaven.
Point 1: Church Attendance Is a Work, Not Salvation Going to church is a good work But salvation is not earned by works
📖 Isaiah 64:6 – “All our righteous acts are like filthy rags.” Illustration:
Wearing a uniform does not make you a soldier. Sitting in a garage does not make you a car.
👉 Sitting in church does not make you saved.
Point 2: Heaven Requires a Changed Heart, Not a Church Seat
📖 John 3:3 – “You must be born again.” Church can change behavior Only Jesus changes the heart Many are religious, but not regenerated
📖 2 Corinthians 5:17 – “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.”
Point 3: Religious People Can Still Be Lost Jesus spoke to people who: Knew Scripture Attended worship Followed rules Yet He said:
📖 Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven.”
Lesson: Religion without relationship leads to deception.
Point 4: Church Does Not Replace Christ Church introduces you to Jesus Church supports your walk with Jesus Church cannot substitute for Jesus
📖 Acts 4:12 “There is no other name under heaven… by which we must be saved.” Only:
The blood of Jesus Faith in His sacrifice True repentance can save a soul.
Point 5: What Church Attendance Is Actually For Church attendance: ✅ Helps believers grow ✅ Provides fellowship ✅ Encourages holiness ✅ Builds faith 📖 Hebrews 10:25 –
“Do not forsake the assembling of ourselves together.” 👉 Church is the fruit of salvation, not the root.
Conclusion You don’t go to heaven because: Your name is on a church register You grew up in church You are active in church You go to heaven because: ✔ You repented ✔ You believed in Jesus Christ ✔ You surrendered your life to Him Altar Call / Reflection
Question Have you been attending church or following Christ? Is your name only on the church roll—or written in the Book of Life? (Revelation 20:15) |

If everything that happens is God's will, then man would not have to be blame for his sins since it would be termed the will of God. Rather, I think that when man fails to cooperate with God, he falls into error which leads to tragedies. Don't be quick to blame my God for human error nepapole: The will of God.
May God comfort the family of the deceased.

The official presidential jet The C 130 And a fighter jet.
Or do you think it's the Presidential jet that carries the presidents vehicles? You think they rent cars for him when he travels? Or you want to leave you president unprotected in the air?
Do you know what it's costs to fuel a G6 from Nigeria to New York for example?
