Please does anyone here use Spectranet? |
Adex2442:The Spectranet self-care login page is no longer loading when I turn on my MiFi. How do I rectify this issue? |
ChykaPee:Yes.

God2man2again:Which area is that? |
djon78:Very good question. Secondly, why should the price of PMS refined here in Nigeria cost almost the same as that of the one being imported? It absolutely doesn't make any sense. What then is the advantage of having our own local refinery? |
Please can someone tell me why we should be buying PMS at over N1000/litre in a country where we export crude. What is the advantage of the Dangote Refinery if we are still buying PMS at almost the same rate as the imported one? Some things don't quite add up here. NNPC's transparency and accountability needs to be questioned. |
One man's crisis in US is another man's norm in Nigeria. Truly, this life no balance. |
Powerhouse5050:Guy, please calm down. There is power in words. Be careful what you wish your fellow man. Thank you very much sir |
fergie001:Why won't they recite "Arise O Compatriots" after struggling to sing "Nigeria We Hail Thee" in the last game against South Africa. They have better things to do with their time than trying a learn a boring and uninspiring anthem. |
Aditkd:Pass on the torch!!! ![]() |
I think we should have a system where each president's tenure is reviewed every 2 years within the stipulated time, such that if the president is not performing up to people's expectations, he should be impeached. His performance within the first two years should determine if he would qualify to rule for the remaining years of his tenure. It makes no sense why we have to suffer and wait for a whole tenure to elapse before changing an underperforming president. We have tolerated mediocrity for too long. |
seekerme:They know Nigeria is long way overdue for electronic voting. Unfortunately, they wouldn't pass this bill because it would totally frustrate their chances of rigging elections. I strongly believe Nigerians can vote from their phones just the same way we have USSD and internet banking. |
sayusuf:Did you eventually get admitted for the Msc in Computer Science? I would love to learn from your experience if you don't mind. Please kindly send a DM to my WhatsApp(0803084926). Thanks |
NLC should demand that certain allowances be given alongside the N62,000 and insist that the minimum wage should also apply to the executive, legislature and judiciary. After all, everyone serving under the umbrella of the government is technically a servant, whether as a leader or a worker and deserves to be paid accordingly. That's fair enough. |
monex:They don't necessarily have to go on strike until government tackles inflation rate. NLC can make their demands and give government a specific period of time to implement. If government is not able to meet up with the deadline, then NLC has the right to go on strike. We have chickened out on our leaders for so long, hence the reason the country is what it presently is. The earlier we realize that we as a people have the power to change Nigeria, the better for us. We tend to forget that democracy is government of the people, for the people and by the people. Check out the histories of countries who have experienced a revolution in one way or the other. The citizens of those countries stood up for their rights. |
Lobatan!!! NLC Strike Episode 2 loading. We all saw this coming. After all, N62,000 is higher than N60,000. Isn't it? Shebi it was National Grid they shut down before. This time around, dem go kuku disconnect all the electric poles join. Let's see how this movie would eventually play out. On a more serious note, NLC should make more pressing demands beyond minimum wage that affects the entirety of the Nigerian population, not just the civil servants and salary earners. How about insisting on government tackling the inflation rates and high cost of living, price regulation of goods and services, reducing the electricity tariffs, creating enabling policies for business owners and ensuring the welfare of every Nigerian. |
Kellie069:It's funny how government is so swift to increase enumeration for the political and ruling class without thinking of the cost implications, but suddenly turn "economists" when it comes to improving the lives of civil servants and average Nigerian citizens. |
Can a minimum wage earner of N60,000 afford to buy this car? |
N494,000 might seem a bit on the high side and unrealistic, but if you compare this amount to the outrageous allowances our so called politicians and lawmakers are earning on a monthly basis...I think N494,000 is a fair deal, considering the present high cost of living and inflation rates. Maybe the elites and ruling class should also be paid minimum wage of N60,000. Let them as well have a taste of the pudding and feel the burdens masses are experiencing. They can't be living large and spending frivolously while asking civil servants to depend on a meagre sum of N60,000. That's the height of wickedness and unfairness. |
Angelfrost:This is the bitter truth. The sooner we accept it, the better for us. This shut down is obviously shooting the masses on the leg indirectly, not the intended target of the upper class. |
In as much as I am very much in support of NLC going on this strike, the question is who will the impact of shutting down the national grid have more effect on? The average Nigerians/masses trying to survive or the politicians and lawmakers at the helm of affairs? Sadly, your guess is as good as mine. The bitter truth is these class of people aren't feeling the heat of the moment at all. They can afford to generate their own power independently without blinking. As long as this move isn't directly affecting Aso Rock and State government Houses, the Electricity Unions should have a rethink. |
orlahtohbadt:I have been trying to send you a PM but it's not going through. Please kindly send me a DM on WhatsApp(08030849296). Thanks |
Revolution my foot!!! Changing the anthem without changing the mindset and orientation of corrupt leaders and terrorist groups in Nigeria is akin to putting new wine in an old wine skin...Misplaced priority The fact that you ask an agbero to wear suit doesn't automatically translate to him speaking posh and acting gentlemanly. Changing the anthem doesn't change Nigeria for the shamble it really is at the moment |
Misplaced priorities. Why revert back to an anthem that was changed in the first place? How does this address the enonomic hardship Nigerians are currently facing? So you expect an hungry man to start learning how to sing this new anthem? Biggest joke of the century. |
orlahtohbadt:Okay sir, thanks for your efforts so far. The email was inactive for sometime, but it's now active and able to receive mails. I don't know why it keeps bouncing back. Please can you try sending it to me as a document on WhatsApp(08030849296) so I can communicate with you privately. I'm not able to send you a PM here on Nairaland. |

√8 is not equal to 4. 8 is not a perfect square, hence √8 cannot give us an integer. √8 = 2√2 |
orlahtohbadt:Please I need past questions for Msc Computer Science. My email is thepianist2008@yahoo.com Thank you. |
Codes151:The square root of 8 is not 4. 8 is not a perfect square. If you substitute the value of 4 back into the equation, it gives us √4 + √4 = 2. So that automatically tells us that 4 is not the correct answer. If you substitute 2 into the equation, it gives us √2 + √2 = 2√2. When you convert 2√2 to a single surd, it gives us √8. √8 = √4 x √2 = 2√2. That tells us that √8 is equivalent to 2√2. In conclusion, 2 is the correct answer. |
Final Answer = 2

orlahtohbadt:Apologies sir. The issue on the mail has been resolved. Please kindly resend to thepianist2008@yahoo.com. Thanks for your patience and understanding. |
sammy329:It's very possible, given that the modus operandi for both exams are different. JAMB not only tests your knowledge, but also tests your ability to answer questions speedily and accurately within a very short time. |
