This is my first time posting here so forgive me if I’m doing anything wrong. I promised myself that if my visa was approved I’d come back and post my transcript here. I don’t want to a be silent lurker and not contribute.

Reading this forum helped me immensely in my application process so I’m posting mine because I know how difficult it can be to find similar transcripts to yours! Here it is:

Age: 21
Course: Masters in Health Informatics
School: George Mason University, Virginia

Visa approved today. 7:15am interview batch. Tall slim man in Window 3.

VO: Good Morning
Me: Good Morning!
VO: Please pass your passport and I-20
Me: Passed it.
VO: *types for a bit* So, why do you want to study Health Informatics?
Me: Mainly to improve my career prospects back here (in Naija). Studying this course will diversify the types of jobs I would be able to apply to and increase the amounts of jobs I’d be able to apply to after I graduate as opposed to just working in a hospital.
VO: *nodding* What types of jobs?
Me: Err like a Data analyst or programming specialist at a hospital or private company. Whichever one takes me first (laughed here and VO laughed)
VO: Who will be paying for your education?
Me: My parents
VO: Okay, what do they do?
Me: My dad is a retired Engineer and my mother is self employed
VO: What does your mum do?
Me: She owns a furniture company, so she buys and sells furnitures, does interior decorating and is also into a bit of real estate.
VO: I see some of your family is accompanying you?
Me: Yes, my mum and my sister are traveling with me for the Christmas holiday before I go to school.
VO: Do they have Visas?
Me: Yes, B-2
VO: Okay Okay, *Still typing*
VO: What did you study in the UK?
Me: Biomedical Science
VO: Oh nice, alright I will be approving your visa... blah blah blah

No documents were asked from me. This is a lovely forum and I hope my transcript will help a future applicant!
