Nocifer: I totally understand your concerns.
Firstly, each audio is 0.4-0.6mb. Even accounting for overhead, that's 300mb/day, so about 9gb/mo. 4k (aday's pay) can get you 15gb/mo (on Airtel), which is more than enough for a month's workload. Again, 1 day's pay can get you enough data to do the role for 1 month.
Second, it really does take 3-4 hours to complete.
That average is based off stats from dozens of reviewers in Nigeria (most of whom have unstable power supply) doing this role over the past few weeks. That's before considering that most people get faster with practice, so you end up spending 2.5-3 hours once you get the hang of it. I've also done it many times, because I wouldn't offer people a role I couldn't complete, and I get 300 audios done in 2-2.5 hours. Note that the audios are already transcribed (your job is to make sure those transcriptions are accurate), and you can play audios at 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x, or 2x speed, which further condenses your real-world review time.
I know that might seem little to some, but that's ₦120k/mo for (at most) 4-5 hours of work daily (closer to 2-3 once you get good at it). Even without considering that the role is completely remote, that's much better than what most entry-level jobs offer.
If you still think it's too much to ask, that's fair; I can't compel you to do it, but I'd rather have this done by us (so we reap the benefits) than ship it off to China where it can be done in labor farms for a fraction of the cost.
Hope this clarification helps anyone with similar concerns to yours. 😄 what U just mention here it's absolute lie....it will take a machine to review at a speed above 1x. And to accurately do this, one is required to replay about 2-3 times and in most cases more than that. If there is anyone who U have hired that can claim they transcribe 300 audios within a day and not even 3-4 hrs, tell them to come here and prove me wrong. What U wrote are complete statistical jargons far from reality. |

BaEnki: You're a slaver, and a very horrible one. I wouldn't advise anyone to consider this.
N4000 to review 300 audios, is the 4k even enough to get the data to download the 300 audios? Not to mention the efforts in reviewing & correcting 300 audios.
Just like your governments, you're very heartless! don't mind these set of wicked individuals....4000 to review 300 audios. Something that would take U days considering the epileptic power supply we have. This is enslavement |

Tinibu is not Jonathan that U will threaten by making Ur region ungovernable.
What's happening in Nigeria today is felt by every Tom, Dick and Harry.
So the north can't play d victim when they basically helped Tinibu into presidency.
It is either another southern president or it's Tinibu. |

advanceDNA: lol…. Funny guy…. U consider that the man’s action is crimes against humanity…. But u don’t think he should receive punishment for his action?? Baba, stay one place make thunder fire u appropriately..
What has being married got to do with someone being raped and physically assaulted….married pple commit crime all the time…they do the time… its actually easy once we choose to do the right thing…. But we Nigerians dont like doing whats right.:::::and thats why we are used to injustice all around us
oga stay one place make thunder fire you….u Dey try pretend like u want justice but still expect the man to be forgiven like nothing happened….
lol…. U are sympathetic to the perpetuator but u dont have empathy and expect full justice for the victim??
lol…so the only person that can ensure the man goes to jail is the wife?? Whats is this one saying??
Its easy…: the victim that was rapped and battered till she fainted and threatened along side the pastor, can ensure the man faces the music… if someone raped the pstors children or the pstor’s wife.. will they make the same decision…. ??
Let’s always try and enter the victims shoes before we judge…. This is what we expect from our leaders who dont care pple die daily… yet we do the same everyday
lol…There is nothing difficult about making a rapist pay for his crime if u are not a wicked and inconsiderate person.
if I have a wife and she rapes and physically assaults the boy I brought to the house to help….. baba…her mind no go touch ground.. .. i cant even sleep with such woman again …..: but alas! You are only putting yourself in the shoes of the perpetrator and thats why u think the woman should just forgive the man and live happily every after…..as in ….did u even try to imagine how the woman now sees the man??
Oga … stay one place make thunder for fire u …. U ar just talking from two sides of the mouth…… a crime has been committed… there is only one outcome unless the victim and those who heard of the issue decides not to reports….and that outcome is justice…
When govt started repentant bokoharam yall were screaming…. E reach Una turn to judge matter of a man that raped and nearly killed a girl….. Una come Dey talk father and husband factor….. baba …: thunder go fire you ajeh!! it is obvious U re too dum.b to understand that what I wrote up there is a case analysis of how it is viewed by the different parties involved in this case and not my overall subjective opinion on this case. Since U can't communicate in a public space without rubbing Ur self in d mud do not quote me again. U re canvassing jail and I'm telling u the various factors why d woman may not have reported the incident but since U re too du.ll U could not comprehend it. Being married and a father might be a reason the wife did not report the incident. Will u help the wife to cater for the children? But U re too daft to know what I'm talking about. Are U more pained than d victim who went to report the incident to the pastor instead of the police. Is there no reason she made that judgement? If Ur IQ is too low for analytical reasoning pls do not quote me. Are U more irritated than d wife? Why haven't she gone to the police? |
Family › Re: My Husband Assaulted Our Maid While I Was Away I Don’t Know What To Do by Pious101: 10:10am On Mar 31 |
advanceDNA: In your own scenario the man is also not in prison?? As in… i am not understanding .. While I considered what d man has done to be a crime to humanity, I ever wonder if U re married with d way U re canvassing jail as if it is that easy. The man should be kept behind bars, I'm absolutely in support of this. However, d man is a father, a husband and a breadwinner. These are the factors that would be at play in d mind of d woman that would make her to think twice before reporting the issue to the appropriate authority. Making these decisions is never easy, so it's not as easy d way U re canvassing it. U will never know how painful and difficult taking certain decisions until you are faced with circumstances beyond Ur control. In this scenario, Justice is required by one party, father, friend and husband is required by other parties. |

Tinubu has destroy that rotational president bull shiy . We want anyone from any part of the nation that can help this nation and stop all these suffering . It is so amusing how the poor masses allow these criminals parading themselves as political leaders to tone dictating what should happen .
I DONT CARE WHO BECOMES THE PRESIDENT OR WHERE HE CONES FROM , ALL I WANT IS A CHANGE AND POSITIVE RESULTS and U think the north has this mindset U wrote up there? They have a born to rule mentality. It's high time d south make them understand they re not masters in politics. Northerners would never say this. Buhari was a chronic failure for 8 years. Who in d north castigated him? But when it is d south, U see d likes of Amaechi and Co fighting the president? I do not support failure, there are competent individuals who can take on d affairs of the president from d south. If Obi should be d flag bearer today in ADC, I would gladly support him than any northerner. They should wait for their turn, period... It is either any other competent southerner, or it is Tinibu Vrs d north in d forth coming election. |

Health › A near death experience I witnessed by Pious101(op): 1:05pm On Feb 25*. Modified: 7:04pm On Feb 25 |
Dear Nairalanders, Yesterday I witness a situation that left me restless even till this moment. While having a haircut yesterday, the guy cutting my hair was screaming at someone to help him hold one of his apprentice that just went outside of the saloon. For about three times he said it but the guy he was telling was looking confuse and reluctant at the same time. The next thing I saw, the apprentice who is between 17-20 years of age walked into a visible open gutter with stinky water. Immediately, the barber dropped the clipper and went after him and jumped into the gutter while I followed from behind looking confuse. Initially I thought he was either drunk or he abused a substance that over powered him. The young man was having a serious seizure, while the barber held his head from hitting the gutter wall. We dragged him out of the gutter and laid him flat to regain himself. Foamy spit were coming from his mouth, grasping for breath and his eyes look like someone being strangulated. What I witness reminded me there is a thin line between life and death. When he regained himself, he was feeling ashamed, all I could say was you will outgrow it and you don’t need to feel ashamed even when I am not sure of what I said. When the father came he said it was seizure. It started when he was in JSS1 and this was like 6 years back. It began when he had acute malaria and was taken to military hospital in Port-Harcourt. According to the father, back then it comes within an interval of once in 3-6 months but after taking the medication he was given it now became so frequent. The barber who have never saw this situation before (although he has being pre-informed of the boys condition before now) is now even scared of retaining him as apprentice meaning the future looks so bleak for the young man currently. I pleaded with him not to do that and would possibly make research to see what help can possibly get him better With a heavy heart I have to bring this here, who have seen something like this before? How can he get better? Is there a cure to this? I can only but imagine what the boy go through on daily basis. The mental picture of what I witness keep replaying in my memory, pls help… Pls moderator send to front page for wider input |

Boss continue, awesome story line Kalulu44: In the evening of that day me and Chioma chatted as usual and told her that her father called. I told her everything we said. She said her father has told her everything. But that what's the point in her coming to see my mum and siblings, since they will come to their place by December. That instead I should give her my mum number let her greet her and my siblings. I said nope, I want her to meet them in person first before anything. She then came with the excuses of she doesn't have the money to travel down to Lagos and even if she have, the traveling will be a stress to her and the pregnancy. . I told her I will provide the money and gave her an ultimatum that if she doesn't come, then I too am not coming with anybody to come see her parents and from there I will deny her and run away. After all, she doesn't know my mum nor siblings yet and don't have any of them numbers. She understood my threat and promised she will come. I have already mapped out my plans. I have already told a doctor and talked about DNA test. The doctor told me, I can't afford DNA test but that this what we will do. That when she comes, I should first observe her stomach and guess how long she's gone. That he will help me test her and know howfar she's gone. That if the weeks correspond or nearly or slightly fall short. Then we'll threatened her with DNA test. That if the pregnancy is really mine, she will agree to do the DNA test, but if not she'll confess. Hmmmm..... Good idea I said to the doctor........ |
