Reason for the refusal was that the applicant could not explain some of the questions and therefore they concluded on a probability the applicant is not suitable for the job .The employer believed the applicant wasn't prepared very well for the interview.

After cancelling from online dash board Sep 16th ,email was received within Tls contact that travel is ready for collection.Afterwards email received from UKVI on Sep 19th that Visa application fee will not be refunded because biometric has been registered.

After sending withdrawal mail, How long it is taking to accept it by uk?
also have you got any mail for refund? In refund mail, is there any amount mentioned?[/quote]

I believed it doesn't matter whether you withdraw online, or not, once you have registered your bionetric your visa application fee is not refundable.

I’m facing the same issue you had. I received an email about paying the incorrect fee for the UK Skilled Worker Visa because I selected "yes" for the Immigration Salary List. I have a few questions and hope you can help since you've been through this before.

Question 1: I received the "Incorrect Fees Paid" email and sent a request to withdraw my application. Do I also need to withdraw it from the UK visa online dashboard?

Question 2: Can I get a refund for the IHS and visa fee? How long does it take to get the refund? Will I receive an email about the refund, and if so, when?

Question 3: It’s been 3 days, and I haven’t received any response from the UK authorities. How long does it take to get my passport back? Will I receive an email about my passport return? If yes, how long did it take for you to get the email and receive your passport after that?

Question 4: How long does the entire process take?

I hope you can assist me with this situation.

Hi,

1) Actually , I sent an email provided by DMC to withraw the application and also cancelled the application from the online dash board ,and you would receive automatic response for the application cancellation. If you have registered your Biometric, Applicatioin visa fee will not be refunded.

In addition, TLS will send you an email to collect your passports and documents once you have cancelled your application.

2) It will take 28days to receive your IHS refund according to UKVI guidance ,So currently still waiting for refund , its just 7 days ago.

Passports collected today from DMC

I am currently looking for other means to reapply whilst waiting for refund as the COS will expires second week of October .

Anyway the application is for my family member. Husband and wife.

Confirm the withdrawalal so as not to be denied then apply under a cotr3ct category cos they believed you applied under a wrong category

i have withdrawn the application yesterday,hopefully they would refund my application fees.

Dear everyone,.
I just received the email below and i understood i have paid incorrect fees for both main applicant and the dependant.

My question is should if i withdraw the application ,do i need to wait for the to refund the money already paid before i can submit another application with correct payment?
or should i contact them to pay the balance fee.
