RIVERS STATE GOVERNMENT IS UP TO DATE IN TERMS OF PAYMENT OF SALARIES ---FINANCE COMMISSIONER Rivers State Government has declared that that it is up-to- date in terms of salary payment to her work-force. In an interview on Tuesday, the State Commissioner for Finance, Dr Fred Kpakol informed that only staff who are yet to do their biometric are yet to be paid. The Finance Commissioner stated that about 75 percent of the State's Workforce have been captured and paid their monthly salaries for the preceding months. He noted: "The moment you do your biometric to authenticate that you are a bonafide civil servant, you get paid. For those who will be captured this month, they will be paid their outstanding salaries. "Rivers State is not owing salaries. The state is doing biometric authentication of civil servants which is a three- month exercise. The exercise ends on July 29, 2016. By then, we will have a comprehensive data of all bonafide civil servants in the state" The Finance Commissioner added that the process for the payment of June salaries has been concluded. In a statement, Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu recalled that Governor Wike had directed that only civil servants who have undergone biometric exercise be paid. The statement added that so far, the Rivers State Government has saved N2billion through the highly successful biometric capture of civil servants in the state. Members of the public are therefore advised to disregard falsehood being peddled by defeated politicians through their media associates that the Rivers State Government has defaulted in the monthly payment of salaries. Simeon Nwakaudu, Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor, Electronic Media. 12th July, 2016.

When were u captured? If u did ur bio just recently, I think u should expect alert by August when July salaries would be paid but if u did urs may be last 3 weeks, u gona get it once June salaries are paid. Make inquiry whether June alerts have started coming. If u didn't receive, beta go back to biometrics venue and lay ur complaints; maybe the machine didn't capture u. It has happened to some and they were recaptured.

Incidence form is given to those whose data were not found in the data base. The reason is to work on it so dt d Lil itch will be rectified. Short payment or non payment as the result may be, if ur data is in the data base no form will be given. Mostly this affects those not paid both February and march salary. During our turn (Abolga) some of us asked the question. Like me personally, after my capture, I wasn't given the form and I requested for it from them and I was told it doesn't concern Feb/march pay and that those given d form have problems bcoz their data was nt found. They added; the problem of feb and march pay will be sorted by our board coz they are aware. My school was not paid Feb BT we received march n non of us was given d form to fill. I don't know if anyone in my shoes in the house whose data was in d data base yet filled the form tho.

Am from Abua sssb, I was paid march salary but not paid February, when I did the biometric anl incidence form bearing incorrect account details was given to me, but I was captured before filling the form.

I got my June salary exactly after 2 weeks of the biometrics capture and April salary the next day.

What about May salary?

All those that were not paid Feb Salary had "No Found Records" on the database (system) and were given an incidence form to fill. The issues were later addressed individually (one after the other) before thump printing and capturing. It is peculiar to those having issues with Feb salary and few others that had also been paid Feb and March. There is no cause for panic cox its a very minor stuff that will only take some time.

Mine was incorrect account details, I was captured then asked to fill d incidence form n submit my file which I did in less dan 5mins submitted my file n zoomed off.

Abolga ppsb have not done theirs.
