My elder brother is in F2B (I'm in f2a) his pd is 2015 , got his letter in April 2020, while my pd is 2019 got mine in June 2020

Mine is March 2016, we are just WAITING. With this ban, everything seems so unsure. Even after the pandemic and the temporary ban on green card, there's still the specific ban on immigration from Nigeria ��‍♂️

I got a b2 renewed multiple times and now an L1

You just need to show / demonstrate that you are not planning to be there illegally

Thank you for your response. I think you're right. I've actually gotten a B1/B2 visa on this myself.
I was just thinking Studets visa is a more long term and tricky situation so I'm looking for people that have successfully done it.

Please does anyone here have experience with applying for a students visa while in NVC Processing? For example, getting a student visa while in NVC processing for F2B category with priority date about 1 year away.

Who knows about this kind of situation and prospects of student visa approval?
