Anambra State youths on Thursday sang the
praises of President Bola Tinubu during his one-day working visit to the state today May 8.


While Tinubu was about rounding off his speech,
some young persons began chanting in Pidgin
English that he was their father, an allusion to the president as father of the nation.

When I moved into my new crib, I had similar activity going on in my bathroom.

I'd leave for work and return to a heap of sand that wasn't there when I left.
Sometimes I'd meet nylon that looks like it's been inside the blocks before I came to Lagos.

Solution is to look for cement and seal the hole and every other place that look like they could harbour rodents.

And don't forget to leave the rat a piece off fish or two around your waste bin so they'd stay off your house.

The man is active though not as he used to be when he first assumed the office. He was vocal and always going after the cabal in his Ministry (particularly Nigerian Immigration Service over passport issues), till they came after him with that scandal about him having interest in a company that enjoyed contract from the former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Betty Edu.

The scandal affected him so much that he virtually "disappeared" and stopped championing good reforms. He is gradually coming back...
