helinues: The news of the defections from some part of the South South is just a tip of the iceberg. Wait from next year January to be exodus/tsunami defection to Apc.
Even though some politicians might have issue with APC as a political party, but you see president Tinubu, he's a real political leader who knows how to bring people onboard.
Less drama under this government , less intimidation, less political witch hunt
One party State? Not good at all..Someone said it's to avoid EFCC investigations..
authority2006: You don't get to read this kind of attack but when the retaliation happens, everyone will be emotionally invested. Some people would even say Fulanis don't forgive when they didn't even condemn the preceeding action
Offpoint1: So I got banned because I committed on the post Seûn made few days ago asking our opinions on what he needs to do to improve Nairaland.
I responded with "This is not the first time you're making such a post and at the end of the day you won't implement zero of the suggestions. All you do is post and ran to Twitter to make meme"
Seconds later I got "a mod has banned you for defamation"...
So the truth is now "defamation"?
You never ready, you truly don't lost touch with your own creation
Defamation?? I thought as much that Seun was just catching cruise with that thread ..nothing changes..

smileyoo: They should go after the murderers , apprehend and prosecute them, any one found guilty should be hanged immidiately- that should be the best option to stop these criminal land-grabbers, masquerading as herdsmen. These fulani-herdsmen have been killing Nigerians for free, without any consequences for their heinous acts, that is why they refused to stop their madness .
Prosecute them? Did they "prosecute" the victims before slaughtering them?

Like we have always asked d same question here that how did obi suddenly become the Messiah?
Isn't it funny that no comment during his administration as governor ever praised him but today the same people that cursed him then wants us to suddenly see him as the new Messiah.
There were different comments making it clear he failed as governor but today they want us to see him as a Messiah, there's one particular one that got me on twitter as far back as 2013.
The Igbo guy stated on twitter n I quote "if I will die today, my last wish is that obi should be probed by efcc"......but today this same guy can tear u apart if u remind him obi failed as governor.
Most times they often gaslight people that they voted based on competence, despite obi failing in all sectors.
Healthcare - obi failed woefully in this sector that doctors went on strike for 13 months under him (picture evidence below) but today those same people wants us to believe he had grade A in health sector.
Education - obi failed woefully in this sector that teachers went on strike for good 6 months n not only that even that is now the most vocal.about supporting obi today made a tweet n said obi failed woefully in education.
They always lie to us that anambara came first in waec, check the records obi through his crooked ways established miracle centres which he was forced to close down (picture evidence below)
Infrastructure - a one week challenge was given to igbobedients to showcase obi standing legacy and infrastructure development during his governance but for one week none of them gave us a reasonable answer but insult.
Finance - those igbobedients lie to us that obi left 85 billion naira in the confers of anambara before he left but this was debunked when obiano organised a committee to dispute that lie and set the record straight. Picture evidence and link below.
Security - before u rate obi in this, u need to go n check obiano manifesto so u can see it clearly where he made it clear that he will tackle insecurity to a standstill if he's elected.
With all these and many more I wonder how obi suddenly became the Messiah we all needed,is it the desperation to have an Igbo president.
I believe it's an insult to tell us obi is the most competent candidate, if u tell us u need an Igbo president then we all can understand but don't tell us he's the best candidate
Gunmen reportedly stormed a prayer session at a remote mountain site in the Egbola area, along Agbaja Road in Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State and abducted an unspecified number of the worshipers.
The incident is said to have occurred on Friday during a night vigil on the mountain.
A woman identified as Mary Adams Gure was said to have been rescued by men of the state vigilante services who got the wind of the incident and mobilized to the scene and confronted the gunmen in a gun duel.
According to the source, their attackers stormed the prayer ground, firing sporadically to instil fear before forcefully whisking the worshippers into the bush.
The rescued woman was said to have escaped amidst chaos.
“The vigilantes were mobilized quickly in response to the attack; and in the process, Gure was rescued . A search-and-rescue operation is ongoing to locate the remaining abducted faithful.
"Gure managed to escape and later found safety, thanks to the swift intervention of local vigilante members who were alerted and got to the scene of the incident on time,” the vigilante source said.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP William Aya, did not respond to calls and messages sent to him on the incident.
Brendaniel: Not the whole south o, the south west are not tired of Fulanis killing them because you can't tell me that they are the ones fully in charge of the country as president with about 90% of the service chiefs from their place and yet their brothers in power cannot do anything to help them( even if they want to be biased)
And guess what their people being killed are not even angry and shouting at their brothers in power that they failed to use their offices to protect them, are you still convinced that the whole south is tired of this? Instead they will be attacking Igbos who are not attacking them and fighting Fubara who is in port harcort.
You then ask yourself what were they so desperate to get the power for if the power cannot even help them not to talk of helping the south or Nigeria at large, tribal bragging rights was all they wanted and they have gotten, nothing else matters
press9jatv: Kogi Central: Senator Natasha flags off free maternity centre, empowers constituents
Senator Natasha H Akpoti -Uduaghan on Thursday, launched the construction of a free maternity centre and child care centre in Kogi Central senatorial district.
The centre, scheduled for completion in four months, will provide free and efficient maternity services to women in the district.
The senator expressed her excitement about the project, stating that she understands the challenges of childbirth, having given birth to four children herself.
She emphasised that every pregnancy is unique and comes with its own risks, and acknowledged that women in rural areas face even greater difficulties due to limited access to healthcare.
"As a mother of four, I understand the physical toll of pregnancy and the unique risks involved. With my access to healthcare, I can only imagine the challenges women in rural areas face during childbirth. As your Senator, I believe it's important to build a maternity and childcare center to support these women."
The maternity centre will be a 20-bed facility with two delivery rooms, an ICU, and staff quarters.
The senator noted that the staff quarters are essential, as many doctors are reluctant to work in rural areas due to inadequate accommodation.
She promised the centre's services will be completely free, adding that she looks forward to seeing women gather at the centre to receive antenatal care and support.
She also highlighted the centre's sacred location, situated near the grave of the Ebira nation's mother and the Eid ground where Muslim faithfuls observe Salah prayers.
In addition to the maternity centre, the Kogi lawmaker also empowered her constituents by providing tools and training to those who had earlier been trained in welding and carpentry. This initiative aims to enable them to start their own workshops and become financially independent.
The senator concluded by thanking her constituents and expressing her joy in spending time with them.
She also announced that 200 bags of rice would be distributed to those present, in addition to the 2400 bags of grains distributed a few weeks prior.
