PhonesRe: Full Specs And Pics Of The New Blackberry PRIV. Worth The Price? by Pointblank2015: 5:48pm On Oct 26, 2015
oloriooko:
a phone packed with numerous specs should have a better battery power than what it has.
blackberry with its battery miserly character as always
BB had to sacrifice some battery power to keep the Priv sleeky slim via Smartslide! wiv da BB tweaked android OS on lollipop 5.1.1, this compromise is rated to deliver 22.5hours when fully charged. & by the way this phone has wireless charging capability.

Pls this is no stock android phone. This is a blackberry phone running a blackberry tweaked android OS, all wrapped up in what blackberry is best known for - the best of security via DTEK & the best of physical keyboard, hidden away via SmartSlide. This phone will come with a number of features only available on the BB10 OS. For the first time, android will be really secure.

This phone will be bulletproof like other flagship blackberry phones. A study already confirms that BB users keep their phones for the longest. That's how durable BB phones are.

Blackberry makes the best keyboards in the world, both physical & virtual, & like on the BB Passport, the keyboard on the Priv is also touch enabled; the only KB in both physical & virtual versions that flicks words into the writing area! Unlike other phones with only virtual KBs, the touch enabled KB lets u scroll up & down, back & forward on the screen without reducing screen area & smudging up the screen.

These are aside of other apps native to BB like the BB Hub that gives you all your messages in one place-you don't have to click on individual apps. The BB calendar is also a marvel to use, definitely not like on other phones. I could go on, but my BB pple already know that blackberry phones pack a lot of exclusive features, including the best batteries.

This is a great opportunity for the android & iOS crowd to discover some of the BB exclusivity they have been missing, including the best keyboard & security in the world.

I dare note that BLackberry's problem has been that of marketing. A lotta people in the iOS&android crowd dont even know what blackberry has to offer. Some have never ever seen a BB advert showcasing the BB10 OS. John Chen still doesn't think there should be a launching for this ground breaking phone. Online & social media advertizing can neva be adequate for a hardware manufacturer that is looking to capture some more market. This comes from JC's background as a software person, plus he doesn't really wanna spend money like that. He thinks the phones should sell themselves & by word of mouth among faithfuls & those who should know better. I am still hoping there'll b a launching event before the phone starts shipping on Nov.06. I hope he changes his mind & gets a marketing outfit to market the hell out of the Priv!
