CrimeWoman Caught Stealing Goat In Benue State by Polydo(op): 6:44am On Aug 26, 2025
In Benue: Woman Caught Stealing Goat, See What Happened Next Will Shock You! 🐐

If you think you’ve seen it all in Nigeria, wait until you hear this! In Benue State, a woman was caught for allegedly stealing a goat. But instead of simply handing her over to the authorities, the villagers went for the “African drama special” they stripped her, tied the goat around her waist, and paraded her in public.

Now, I have just one question: must humiliation always be the first punishment? 🤔 We are in 2025, yet some people still believe stripping women nak£d is the best way to teach a lesson. Honestly, that’s not justice, that’s public shame.

Remember that lady who boarded Ibom Air and made headlines because of the treatment she got? Sometimes, it feels like society is always quick to disgrace ordinary people, but when it comes to those stealing millions in government, everyone suddenly develops selective blindness.

Why don’t we see the same energy when a corrupt politician loots the treasury? Why don’t we tie bags of money to their necks and parade them too? Or is it that goats are easier to catch than government thieves? 🐐💼

We need to do better as Africans. Wrong is wrong, whether it’s stealing a goat or stealing billions. But punishment should be fair, lawful, and without unnecessary humiliation. Let’s keep our dignity, even when correcting wrongs.

📢 What do you think? Should public humiliation be banned completely, or do you think it’s still an effective punishment? Drop your opinion in the comments! Let’s talk.

Christianity EtcWe're Not Your Wives, Stop Using Us As Bedmates– Rev'd Sister Tells Priests by Polydo(op): 5:56am On Aug 26, 2025
We're Not Your Wives, Stop Using Us As Bedmates– Rev'd Sister Tells Priests, Exposes Sexual Harassment in Catholic Church

Rev’d Sr. Kinse Anastasia of Veritas University, Abuja, has raised alarm on social media, accusing some Catholic priests and church authorities of sexually harassing and maltreating Reverend Sisters.

According to her, Sisters are often demeaned and reduced to “ornaments in Habits,” treated as though their sole purpose is to satisfy priests’ desires.

She revealed that some priests even go as far as telling them that “Sisters are meant to be priests’ wives,” a claim they act upon without shame.

Anastasia also alleged that many Church leaders deliberately silence Sisters and make them vulnerable, while some superiors misuse their positions of authority.

However, she did not spare Sisters who compromise their vows, warning that such actions weaken the dignity of consecrated life.

In her words, “Religious Sisters are not priests’ wives. We are not bedmates. We are women of God. The Church must do better because God is watching.”

Religious Sisters Are Not Priests’ Wives or Bedmates

By Sr. Kinse Annastasia

Religious Sisters are not ornaments in Habits. We are not commodities for priests to use at will, nor are we mistresses in veils. We are women called by God, consecrated to service, prayer, and the mission of the Church.

Yet too often, behind stained glass windows and polished marble altars, we are treated as less. A priest once told me without shame: “Sisters are meant to be priests’ wives.” He did not say it in jest. He meant it. And he acted on it.

This is not an isolated case. Too many Sisters know the pain of being reduced to temptation instead of being respected as collaborators in Christ’s vineyard. Too many know the silent wounds of manipulation—when a cleric uses “spiritual direction” as a cover for advances, or when financial benefactors expect our dignity in exchange for support.

But it does not end there. The abuse is not only from outside. Within our own congregations, superiors sometimes wield authority as a weapon. Sisters are silenced and maltreated leaving them vulnerable to predators. Others, instead of guiding with integrity, flirt with power and position while the rest are crushed under obedience without justice. We see this and stay silent.

And let me be equally clear: to those Sisters who abandon their vows for promiscuity—whether to gain favor, material advantage, or pleasure—you too wound the Body of Christ. You weaken the prophetic witness of consecrated life and betray the very dignity we demand from the world. It is betrayal from within, and it hands the enemies of truth more reasons to sneer at our vocation.

The scandal is not only in the sin itself, but in the silence that protects it. A Church that preaches purity while tolerating the defilement of its consecrated women is a Church that mocks its own Gospel.

I write this, not out of hatred for the Church but I love my Church too much to stay silent. Such silence has never protected the innocent it only feeds the wolves.

Religious Sisters are not priests’ wives I say again. We are not bedmates. We are not bargaining tickets used to gain benefactors for the community. We are women of God, and until the Church begins to honour this truth, it will continue to rot from within.

To those priests, I say: your vocation does not give you ownership over ours. To superiors, I say this: authority is not a license for cruelty. To Sisters, I say: fidelity is not optional—it is the very soul of our consecration. And to the Church I still love dearly, I cry: Do better because God is watching.

And finally, I make this pledge: provide a better platform and a safe channel for reporting abuse without intimidation, and I promise to delete my personal Facebook account and work wholeheartedly with such an organization. Because we do not seek scandal or validation, likes or comments—we seek truth, justice, and dignity in the house of God.

CrimeWoman Identified As Jennifer To Pay ₦450,000 In Damages After She Collected ₦30, by Polydo(op): 3:50am On Aug 26, 2025
Court Sends Strong Message: Jennifer Fined ₦450,000 for “Transport Fare Disappearance”

In a surprising turn of events that has captured Nigerian attention, a Magistrate Court has ordered a woman identified as Jennifer to pay ₦450,000 in damages after she collected ₦30,000 in transport fare from a man named Emmanuel — then disappeared and failed to show up as agreed.

The ruling didn’t stop at just refunding the fare. The court included additional damages—bringing the total to 15 times the original amount—underscoring how seriously such breaches of trust are now being taken.

Context Matters: “Send Me Transport” in Nigerian Culture

“Send me transport” has become a familiar phrase in Nigerian digital culture—often a lighthearted request in romantic exchanges. But this case reveals a darker underside: what happens when online flirtation ends in perceived deception.

Legal Precedent in the Making

Judicial observers suggest this could mark a turning point. The hefty fine is not only punitive it is clearly intended as a deterrent, sending the message that “ghosting” after receiving money has real legal consequences.

Earlier versions of this phenomenon like a similar case in Osun State where a woman was allegedly fined ₦150,000 have circulated online, particularly in social media. However, fact-checks have since debunked those as either outdated narratives or entirely fabricated. This contemporary ruling involving Jennifer thus stands out for its credibility and legal weight.

The Big Question: Justice or Overkill?

Reactions across social media have been mixed. Some argue this is fair accountability “you booked the ride, show up or refund.” Others feel the fine is excessively punitive, likening it to modern-day moral policing. Regardless, one thing is clear: the court’s message is loud and firm.

CrimeThere Is A Trending Video Of 3 Boys On Allegations Of Engaging In Robbery. by Polydo(op): 3:39am On Aug 26, 2025
There is a trending video of a criminal element called Gentle De Yahoo, who parades himself as a Biafran freedom fighter summarily kpaing 3 of his boys on allegations of engaging in robbery.

The video will leave you livid but here is a daunting side: He enjoys a handful of deranged followers who applaud his evil acts on the social media with the belief that he is fighting for the release of Nnamdi Kanu and Biafra.

Elements like this exists in various regions in Nigeria supervised by our state security architecture. Yes, I say supervised because I do not know how else to explain the fact that a trained army with the advantage of air power cannot root out a few untrained criminals in a landlocked settlement in Orlu LGA of Imo state for years now.

This fellow has caused unbelievable havoc in Imo and most parts of the east for more than two years now and yet he is still ranting on social media and our security intelligence is unable to scout him out.

Like we warned when this madness was taking its early shape and was often misunderstood, this is not and cannot be a fight for the freedom of the Igbos. It is pure criminality clothed as a secession movement and must be stopped.
