From this write up, he was using his sick leave from his original employer because when you get laid off, your accrued sick leave wont be paid, so he decided to use it. The full payment was prolly from his sick leave. If he hadn't got any sick leave left, he would have had to go on a leave without pay. This shouldn't be a jailable offence. He must have revealed his action to another person (Prolly another Nigerian) that ended up ratting him out. |
