It depends on the lifestyle of the people involved! During mine I have a room inside the hotel venue, but I gave it out as I prefer to go home and continue the celebration with my friends and neighbors.

I was very much ok with that decision without isolating myself and thinking how to go back home and start arranging things and bills settlement.

we booked hotel because it was not in my base and the after party was in an hotel so we gat chill there.
