That Bangladesh own shock me. They're gradually moving away from an underdeveloped nation status. I was in dubai mid June. I wasnt seeing much of those Bangladeshi picking rubbish from the waste bin for recycling anymore.
the biggest problem here are the youth, they are too distracted and are not ready to effect a change. i fear for the future

Don't mind him. Only God knows how many times he's bribed the media to always shift the camera away each time he's walking to and from a meeting grin. But we know one of his legs is weak and he uses a stick to support the other. Tinubu can't even walk for 5 minutes. You'd not like to hear the story that will follow. I can't wait to see these ancient men booted out of our political space next year. Our youths are wasting away under them. Nigeria isn't moving forward at all.
chief you said it all, but the youth are the cause, they rather go tictok wasting their life away. youth only interested in trends. see how university student change bagladesh our own na iphone be their problem

So, let's change from being importers to industrialization. It takes time, but we go get there.

Abi you like the insecurity and the mess we dey in? Plus cutting population won't help with poverty and so forth...industrial growth will

Abeg, it's time we stopped complaining and started doing, i don tire.
oga boss africa is a backward continent let that sink in first, no expect any change anytime soon. the person claiming to be saint is always worse than the previous one, that africa for you, uganda president for example was angry that the previous regime has stayed too long in power but he has remain in office since 1986

Wait until your husband gets a very tempting offer.

To him brain is given, sense is expected.
Advertise him even more

We live in a world of broken people who will do their best to break other people's happiness. Check well, most of them are single mothers and divorcees. Nothing give those people more joy than seeing other ladies fall into their situation
correction at the bolded: to whom brain is given, sense is expected

No, we are a country with a large population that cannot take advantage of it because all our governments since independence have not supported a policy of industrialization and export of domestically produced goods. Instead we rely on oil money and then use the dollars to import, which stifles the growth of a genuine domestic industry, and by extension jobs.

If we had followed a policy of industrialization since independence, we would have been able to take advantage of our large population to become very affluent by now. And ironically, our population would be falling by now. Not rising.

Because we are not an industrial nation and also by extension because we lack a strong welfare system, having enough children who will support you in your old age is the welfare system for many.
how many african countries is industrialized? and how many countries is ready to patronize african nations except crude oil. you cant produce what no one is ready to buy, africans dont even trust their own product. we produce vehicles here but what is flooded on our roads are chinese and japanese cars. africa is a dependent continent for now until african leaders shun the outside world and work thing out within themselves we will countinue to move round a circle
Politics › Re: Nigeria Was Near Collapse - Colonel Mohammed Ma’aji On Coup Plot by Pootle: 11:59am On Aug 13
nairalanda1:
Tor, the countries where people have one or two children get a lot of issues.

Japan for example has a declining populaiton because not enough children are being born, because many people are saying the same thing you are saying, only they then come to the conclusion that marrying is not for them. As a result, they have too few young people, and therefore not enough workers to pay the taxes that are needed to fund welfare for all and pensions for the old. Which means that japan is borrowing money and at a rate that scares even the USA.

Same issue in South Korea.

China's own is bad too. Population is not only getting old, but at least 30 million men per generation may never find wives because the one child policy basically led to families preferring boys over girls, which led to a massive issue with their gender ratio. Far more boys being born than girls. China reversed the thing some years ago, but the damage has been done.

If not for mass immigration, European countries would be in the same shoes. ditto canada. And the USA...part of why some people are opposed to trump deporting illegal immigrants (Trump is doing the right thing to deport them though, he has made many bad decisions, but deporting ilegals is not one of them, but the US has a populaton issue too).

Nigeria's problem is that thanks to many wrong decisons, we do not have a large enough productive economy to absorb the large masses of young kids that are born. We can change that, but APC does not want to do the needful, and sadly also, most nigerians. Na to share oil money, that is all we do.
oga we are presently over populated, we need to take birth control seriously imagine nigeria has more birth than the entire europe that speaks alot

My candid advice is don't attempt to honor the police invitation; run away to another far location
Leave your current location to a place he can't relocate you,

Within 1 or 2 search he will rest

He wants to use intimidation and victimization to force u to continue to work with him
and that slavery
