Iamolukorede: However- you said what is in my mind but then who will stop the upcoming presidential elections and call for a referendum? Who?, me or you? Look it is now a dog eat dogs, fish eat fishes for fatness in nigeria 🇳🇬 you see those politicians, may be the youth and Nigerians don't know, NO repentance in their plans.
The problems of Nigeria are the politicians, their colonial principals and the civil service, it is a foundational and structural problem and if we want justice, the nigerian masses must unite to stir up mind revolution 😉 if this can be achieved then we can begin to think referendum and hold another confab like it was done in 2013.
The Nigerian consistution can't work it is oligarchy! as you asked election can be boycotted, jus as south sudan did. we can if we want to |

Chickensoup: It's not about being strict but about people finding out holes in our system. APC is just taking advantage of those holes. The exchange rate was better before OBJ and OBJ was better than GEJ and GEJ was better than buhari. This is due to decay of the country since corruption never stopped. Poverty and hardship gives birth to crime.
The thing is that there will always be sympathizers depending on who does the evil. The north protected Boko Haram, south south protected militants and south east protected IPOB. We are not united in the country. OBJ had it easier because the inflation wasn't that bad and Boko Haram wasn't really functional.
You see this country, we are in big trouble. at the bolded you finally getting my point, if we dont do something soonest it will get worse |

Chickensoup: You need to understand that referendum won't solve the problem. If you do revolution today and remove all the politicians, who will replace them? The same Nigerians that will cheat, disobey law, kill, kidnap, fraud, etc? Is it the same youth that wants to be flaunting money and partying? Nigeria problem isn't just the politicians but the people as well.
This kidnapping and killings isn't because of the election. Killings and kidnapping has been a continuous process. Last year was no different and the year before experienced the same thing. The only difference is that people are more persuaded to join evil because of hardship. even in surplus nigerians will still act in a certain way, let me take you down the memory lane, under obasanjo many could not act in a bad way because he was strict and will crush both the innocent and perpetrators with iron fist, next to yar adua we had the militants and agitation for autonomous governance of their resources note there was some political agenda attached, he died and jonathan made the amnesty and that was dead and buried, then boko boys started bombing here and there and it became a huge distraction everyone at the time focused on it as terrorism them those behind the game upped the entices the chibok girls and hell was let lose on jonathan, he left and the terrorism thing dropped to the minimum under buhari and then ipob and usn and the likes rose under buhari regime after 8year with little or no head way the current politician find a way around it and now it is bandits, herdsmen maiming people in the guise of terrorism. in all i took you through there is a pattern, it shows the center cannot hold the whole country, the country need a referendum to chose if to remain one which is not an option or split into countries which is the best for now, some countries around the world are not as big as east or west in land mass and in populations |

as this continue it shows only one thing election is around the corner.
its becoming too much, some killings are just done as message to the public to demean some people for their selfish gains.
people did not understand the context in which the wife of the former president mrs patient jonathan was worried to how because of position people can be so barbaric but we all took it with levity and now its a menace that refuse to leave.
let me state this, no present politician mean well for this country, both the one in power and the opposition claiming to be saint, they all rejoice at bad news to promote themselves the ones in power too have at some point rejoice and took advantage of this sad happenings.
nigerians should wake up. stop any election and call for a referendum. this thing call nigerian cant work. |
