I'm making this post because i've seen few people ask get no reply (Maybe i missed it). I've shared my experience in the past but doing it one more time won't hurt. I wrote IELTS for the 2nd time in April 2019 and got LRWS - 8.5, 7.5, 6.5, 7.5. based on advice and the confidence i had that i wrote well, i applied for a remark and got upgraded to 7.5. The reason for this post is to say if you have high scores in other areas and you are confident in your writing/speaking, please apply for a remark as soon as possible. The process for applying for MOD/IDP is this: send them an email requesting a remark (info@ielts.ng) including your exam number and centre number. they will send you the forms to fill as well as account/amount to pay. Once you pay, send form back along with proof of payment. They will confirm receipt and inform you that your EOR is going to be reviewed. This next part is important... within a day or two, Follow up with an email to IDP Australia (idpieltsaustralia@idp.com) and copy IDP Nigeria (email above) confirming that they have received your request for remark. Once they respond and confirm that its been received or looked into, you can now sit down and wait for the results. P.S:- always tick remark for at least 2 sections just incase once changes and the other doesn't, that way you'll still get refund and money is not lost. unless of course you've maxed out points in other areas. |
Apologies for the late response...You have to print everything out and courier to them. it's not submitted online. Oluwayeminikans: |

Hi, Please i'd like to PM you here regarding Alberta nomination. I got notification of interest and i'd like to clarify the work reference portion with you. thanks BootyliciousHon: |
I've asked this on the PNP thread but hopefully someone here can help too... Please has anyone successfully gotten PPR through AINP or at least gotten the nomination points? If yes, hopefully you can help answer my questions as i'm in the process of submitting my application. My NOC is 1241 Administrative Assistant. 1. Looking at the document checklist, there's a slot for certifications, licenses and registrations. In regards to my NOC, will i need to submit anything or process anything through alberta to add to my application? 2. Can I get a sample work reference template used for the Alberta nomination? The one i have doesn't include information about skills/knowledge required, work experience required as well as education required. This seems to be the format required for the AINP. or will the reference letter i have suffice along with an job advert for said post stating all the above requirements? 3. Is it possible to add spouse after getting the nomination from Alberta, getting ITA and post AOR? Reason being we are not married yet but planning to and even if we rush and get married and i add him now, my crs score will drop. 4. What is the estimated duration of the AINP program from submission till one gets nomination (600 points)? All response and input will be appreciated. |
If you claim 2 or more certs, you have to evaluate both bsc and pgd if not your evaluation will come out as one year canadian pgd only. I know this because i had to evaluate both bsc and pgd to get 2 or more certificates with WES. playces: |
i wish it was possible. Only heaven knows what the examiner was thinking. just imagine othrs in my shoes that got discouraged for remarking. e go better o, I'm just happy it was upgraded. Adunnee: |
soo I'd like to share my testimony regarding IELTS. Last year I registered for the exam in may, I looked up sample questions and videos for listening, reading and speaking but totally ignored writing because confidence and the fact that I lived and schooled in the UK for 7 years. I went into the exam hall with the mindset that its just english and i've never had problems reading, writing or speaking. when results came out, I was humbled. I had LRWS - 7.5, 7.5, 6, 8. worst part i didn't know about EOR then so I focused on work and finding money to retake the test again. In december, I made up my mind to retake the test in March. I struggled to get the funds and this time i started practicing all aspects and reading day and night using Liz, ieltsonline and ielts advantage. I focused on writing because i felt that was problem area, of course it didn't help that all my friends had failed writing too. Exam day came (23rd march), I wrote like my life depended on it recalling every point i had made in regards to getting at least a 7 for writing. April 6th, result came out LRWS - 8.5, 7.5, 6.5, 7.5. I was weak, I mean i thought i wrote enough to get a 7. I made up my mind to remark, waited a week and paid the fee. this morning, i woke up thinking where i would find money to retake IELTS again. my mind was just focusing on the fact that it took long to get result meant it won't be changed. Lo and behold, this afternoon, while making my hair i got an email, writing has been upgraded to 7.5. i'm over the moon. Moral of the story: if you believe in yourself that you've put in the effort and still get marked down especially in speaking and writing, please apply for EOR ASAP. Be confident in your abilities. Sorry for long story o, I'm just excited and i thought everyone should here my story and hopefully i can encourage someone. Both exams were written with MOD Lagos |

Please can anyone answer? Thanks PopularGingo: |
I’m asking on behalf of my boyfriend, he wants to apply for express entry. He’s self employed, business registered since 2013. My question is this: 1. What will be his NOC code- He draws sketches & design on computer then give instructions to tailors to sew them. He also brands clothes and caps with pictures and designs. He makes clothings on special order. He thinks his NOC should be http://noc.esdc.gc.ca/English/noc/Profile.aspx?val=4&val1=5243&ver=16 Or something graphics related. 5241 2. Most of his payment was either cash or paid into his personal account. Will showing his personal bank statement be good enough evidence since no business account? 3. How will he show hours of self employment equivalent to the 30hrs a week full time requirement? 4. He’s submitting neco because thats what he has, what’s the procedure for sending neco? |
