Macphenson: Nice one. We were corpers then staying in a house provided by Winners Chapel Uyo. The Pastor was also staying with us in the house. One day we were robbed. Later the church told us to vacate as that place is meant for corp members just leaving the camp. Bright came down from Lagos then, he wasnt a corp member but we accommodated him as he claims he had a symposium in University of Uyo Teaching Hospital. But he stayed with us for some time. When we were told to vacate, he told us he rented a 3 bedroom apartment, thats how he was seceretly collecting money from us about the aparment without each of us knowing, even from the pastor. It was later we all got to know what happened by then he fled. He claimed he was working in the hospital but when we got there the hospital told us he wasnt employed. Infact there was a doubt if he is actually a medical doctor then. I know he studied Medicine but I doubt if he graduated as a medical doctor. The woman there then said she told him to bring his credentials for her to employ him but he couldn't provide any.

He said during that period she doesnt respond to calls and text messages. he was wondering how a student could afford such an experience trip out of the country. The Imo State Police Command is issuing this statement in response to a recent viral video showing vehicles set ablaze by individuals affiliated with IPOB/ESN enforcing an unlawful sit-at-home order in Okigwe on 21/10/2024. The Command confirms that this video is misleading; the incident depicted actually occurred in 2022.
Its recirculation is a calculated attempt by mischief makers to instill unnecessary fear and anxiety in the State.
