U Dogalmighty17: Locally assembled you mean? Nigeria has a near absent steel industry. It has a very low number of skilled machinists. So how then can we build a rifle from the scratch? We have enough local manpower and materials to make simple rifles as Dicon has unveiled. All that is lacking is political and commercial will , to prioritise locally produced weapons |

EvilMerodack: Immediately after election when things got sour, Obidients started a campaign where the hurled ins-ults on Ekiti people and Yoruba people in general saying they voted BAT and they should face the Hunger alone
They ridiculed them and called them tribalistic and those ones were forced to reference the election result that Tinubu only won 57% of SW while Obi won 88% of SE, hence they couldn't be said to have voted along tribal lines. They mocked Ooni, Adeboye,Soyinka and many more. So you expected the other section to sit still and absorb all that?
In fact, immediately after Obi won Lagos, Obidients bragged about demoting all Yoruba kings in Lagos, change the language at the assembly to Igbo and even raise Biafran flag at Alausa. It was what led to Sanwo resounding victory
Let's not pretend abeg. And if you think Yoruba started it, then you're just being an Igbo person (mis-erly truthful) liars are liable to burn in hellfire. Take it easy |

hafeeanubasy: So why is OBI throwing his own stolen money around building bore holes and carrying olosho among nursing students all over the country? By the way, good leadership has to do with strategic and system thinking which peter OBi obviously lack base on his political antecedents. They have always done the work for him, from APGA to PDP to LP and to ?ADC. good leadership in Nigerian politics is throwing ill-gotten money around. Peter Obi has never been been someone who throws money around |

hafeeanubasy: Let OBi also make sacrifice. They have always make sacrifice for him from APGA to PDP to LP to?ADC.
He sis not a good leader.be bold to admit it. there are 100s of OBIdients groups in Nigeria and Peter Obi has supported substantially . Throwing money everywhere doesn't make a good leader. The Atikus and Tinubus of this world are certainly not throwing their ill-gotten money around |

festacman: Peter Obi should do better if he really wants to be a politician and run for president. One man MOPOL or 'strategic aloofness' no dey work for politics and for governance. Obviously, his aloofness created an opening for APC to target and humiliatingly won his PU in Anambra State governorship election.
Obedient movement is a God-given structure for Peter Obi to build on and implement his vision for Nigeria. But if he couldn't sew this organic and goodwill-driven group of young people into a potential political force, I mince no word in saying that he lacks what it takes to run Nigeria with all its complexity. And this is sad.
President Tinubu is currently not doing an excellent job but it seems the opposition led by Atiku and Obi offers little to be cheerful about.
Sad narrative about a country destined to lead black race. Mobilization is capital intensive that even Peter Obi, will go bankrupt if he has to fund the whole activities of the OBIdient movement. I understand the effort and the challenges faced by Morris.I personally spent my own funds too and I have no regrets whatsoever. Changing the direction of Nigerian politics is a sacrifice that must be made and borne by Nigerians |

Romance › Re: If You Can’t Tolerate Them, Don’t Marry Them by portacabin: 3:20pm On Oct 08, 2025 |
Dpsychologist: Marriage isn’t a battlefield. It’s not a place to test how much pain, anger, or revenge a human heart can endure. Yet, every other week, we wake up to horrifying news — a wife who poisoned her husband, a husband who beat his wife to death, or couples who set each other ablaze in moments of rage.
Recently there is a news of a woman who is alleged to have set her husband ablaze after an argument. Whether this is later confirmed to be true or not, a life has been lost.
No matter the offence, no one deserves to die in the name of marriage. If a partner becomes unbearable, walk away. Separation — though painful — is always better than a prison sentence or a graveyard visit.
We must start telling ourselves the truth: 👉 If you can’t tolerate his attitude, don’t marry him. 👉 If you can’t respect her when she’s angry, don’t marry her. 👉 If you can’t handle the storms of communication, ego, or financial strain, stay single until you can.
Marriage doesn’t fix temperaments — it exposes them. Love alone isn’t enough; patience, emotional maturity, forgiveness, and self-control are the silent pillars that keep a home standing when love starts to wobble.
Too many people are getting married for the wrong reasons — pressure, loneliness, lust, or societal expectations. Then when reality hits, frustration replaces affection, and resentment breeds violence.
Let’s normalize choosing peace over pretense. It’s not weakness to walk away from what drains you. It’s strength.
So please — before you say “I do,” ask yourself:
>“Can I truly live with this person’s flaws without turning into a monster myself?”
If the honest answer is no, then don’t do it. It’s better to be single and sane than married and murderous.
What do you think — is intolerance or poor emotional management the bigger cause of domestic violence today? true |
