I have nothing against tecno users or the phone. I just believe if I can get a samsung, htc, sony phone which is 10/15k more expensive than the tecno phones, I ll rather go for it.
reason being, I want to use a phone with global recognition and large numbers of developers. with these factors, I can afford to go online and get compatible roms which are not readily available to tecno phones. I use htc Sensation and I've upgraded to jellybean 4.1.1 with sense 4+ and soon developers are porting the htc one's sense 5 on it, u can't get this with tecno, ur stuck with the native OS that came with it.
I've had tecno users ask me they want to upgrade but its not possible cos thr r no compatible custom roms available online, even if thr r, u don't get to know users feedback and phones get bricked.
TECNO DEVICES ARE NOT EVEN RECOGNISED ON XDA-FORUM WHICH IS THE NUMBER 1 ANDROID DEVELOPER BLOG WEBSITE!
