The project is to be completed in 2023 and there is no commensurable road to transport goods into the hinter land. There is only one lane to and one lane from the zone that links Lekki - Epe express road. This is just going to create serious bottle neck and traffic in the area |

Hmmmm..... Free Trade Zone is something to boast about?.... or to be ashamed of? Free Trade Zones in reality are like slave plantations .... mainly established in countries with an abundance of cheap labour.... it is like a country within a country where the laws of the country does not apply... giving rise to exploitation and abuse. China is slowly taking over Nigeria.... and we are saying development when in fact it is exploitation. |

Originalsly:1. The topic is Lekki deep seaport, not free trade zone. 2. They have free trade zone in America too like Miami's free trade zone so are they also running a slave plantation in America with their FTZ? It is not by force to comment, go and sit down somewhere with your pointless rant because all you managed to come up with is ignorance and rubbish. |

Marlboro1:So, when governments stage investment forums to lobby for investments or when they go on trade missions all over the world to seek investments in their respective localities, is it because they want to own the investments or because they want investment money to circulate within their economy to boost their economy, to create jobs for people like you to be able to put food on the table, pay rent and school fees, to generate IGR to build roads, bridges, schools, hospitals and provide social programs and policies to better your life? You people are too knee-deep in ignorance to see beyond your ignorant and shortsighted noses. The kind of low mentality and backward rubbish we read on NL gets very shameful and troubling sometimes. |

Aconomist:Completion dates are never set in stone because of contingencies and unforeseen circumstances so your ramblings make zero sense. I'd understand your post if work stopped or the project was abandoned. Find something sensible to monkey about. |

plaindealer:They are related .... with the completion of the port... the FTZ will increase significantly. Mark my words. What are the conditions in the FTZ in Miami?... you need to find out. All FTZ are like slave plantations... regardless of their location. If you think such conditions do not exist in the US ... you need to think again. |

Nice development, but not until Nigeria is sanitized that ordinary people will benefit from these projects. This might even be a restricted area to some people |
