The comments on this thread shows how deep ethnic bigotry has eaten into the being of most of us. From what I read up there, there is no where that the man said South Westerners are abusing drugs. He is talking about the drugs abused in that region and the abuse could be by anybody.
Of all the states in North West Nigeria, it's only Jigawa that I've never visited. In each of my visits, I drink plenty of beer. If someone is taking statistics of people who drink beer in any of those states at that time, I'll be counted. That doesn't mean that I am from that state.
IMHO, I think the statistics given by Buba Marwa is correct owing to the fact the people from all over the country migrate to the southwest, especially Lagos, on a daily basis.
One should expect a population explosion and a consequent increase in these vices.
This does not mean that the vices are committed by the people from that region.

Have u ever see a Westerner being a member of bokoharam, herdmen, bandit, kidnapping (except Evans) and other social vices. Most of the security challenges we are facing in this country are coming from the North which stem from over consumption of hard drugs. So I which I do your investigation very well before you draw conclusion.

Yes drug abuse cases may be very high in the SW and the victims may not necessarily be indigenous people of the region. Afteral it's a known fact that a big chunk of other Nigerian ethnic groups live in the SW.

So the figure cum statistics quoted include many Nigerians of other extractions. All those aboki okada riders, agberos, cultists, criminals abusing different forms of drugs and others taking them for pleasure live in the SW majorly and so this is expected. So let the man be. We need someone to rid the region of the menace.

This isn’t true. If you have ever lived in the North, you would know this. I lived in Kaduna, Gusau and Sokoto. The level of drug use in these places will make any druggie bow in the south
