Advising the immigration authorities in writing that you can't sit for the IELTS test completely makes you ineligible for the NSE program. It means that you're opting out from the program and as such would go through the regular channel.

It will end in praise

Bro!

Check my angle. As at this moment, the NSE processing style is not been followed as advertised by IRCC. Presenting the LOE at this current moment where IRCC is processing all application as both Regular and NSE doesn't necessary mean the application will be pushed to the Regular Stream.

May be when all areas have been balanced, then the respective rules can take.

In conclusion, my most reason to believe that the moniker application will still be processed as NSE is that; NSE was requested and not by choice, hence, why the LOE will come sufficient to cover for the test considering the unbalanced nature of the processes involved.

If NSE was by choice, then your able suggestion is well-received, especially when IRCC becomes strict with rules guiding both processes.

One love bro.

ABOUT RENEWING PASSPORT
Passport was to expire February 2021 and I applied November 2020, was advised to apply with the old one while I try to process the renewal before I get a response from IRCC.

Hello Glasses08,

This can sell as an ebook.

Congrats once more

oh ok thanks...other plans came up like I said and wasn't really interested in it anymore. She was only worried about bwhat they mean by Canadian family ties.

Hello Futureukstudent,

Think of anything "social" like in social studies. Any good information that can pass well as a single family value i.e. parents; and siblings if not married, heritance (/landed properties), financier of the family, family business, and cultural values or heritage etc – that can compel a possible return back home.

Though, socioeconomic ties is more efficient when demonstrating ties to home country.

Best of Luck

Hello Skull4eva,

There is no issue here, let the anxiety go. When traveling, keep both LOA (new and old) in a place easily accessible. When ask at the POE for it; show them, if not, lock up.

Within Canada, even if you drop down to a Dipoma from a PhD, you will still get PGWP to press for the road. For as long as you spend the money and did not take an unscheduled break in-between your study, you should be very fine.

Best of Luck

Since you deferred; I believe to Fall 2021, and the days to the session deferred to, is still very many. Allow your application run as it is. If later on there isn't a change, you can send it in.

Even if you send it now, your application process will still go accordingly. It's just a thing of preference. I gave mine from what I will do.

Thanks for your response Mr Frank. Is it not better I leave it if he doesn't have enough funds in the account for the moment. Though hell use cheque for the gift deed
Frankrobbn1:

Providing the sponsor's account statement is to show more credence that this funds was originally from him. You can include that as a subordinate evidence.

Hello RoyalDukeDon,

I understand that GIC isn't available for Nigeria with Scotia Bank. I am not so sure of CIBC, but I think early in the year, two people here confirmed that CIBC accepts GIC for Nigerian students and another person verified it. Why not reach out to CIBC by sending an email.

Hi! Are you from Nigeria? There are some exempt countries in their list. You can check that out

Frankrobbn1:

A lot of times submitting files incorrectly unavoidably leads to denial. Its highly advisable that you review your file 3 to 4 times to avoid mistakes that could lead to refusal prior to the application submission. Now, that you've figured out that there was fault in the arrangement of the documents. You can reapply with a persuasive LOE and tackle the concerns raised by the visa officer.

By the way, what's the length of your program in Canada?, I can see that the visa officer has expressed concerns about the length of your childrens stay in Canada. Please be advised that Travel History, is not a stand-alone reason, it will be waived if you're able to overcome other refusal reasons. Include more documents in this present application to show your family is well-established, documents like landed properties, investments, valuation report of a building, and a registered business etc must suffice in the application. Explain how these properties would induce your family's return home after studies in Canada.

Should you've other questions, don't hesitate to ask them here.

It will end in praise

Thanks @ Frankrobbn1 as mentioned, I read through the LOE I submitted and noticed that I submitted the wrong one. It was as a result of the very many attempts to reduce the files.
I have valued my property and would link that to getting a strong ties. It’s a 2 years program with first semester almost completed.

Hello Futureukstudent,

It was thought too far. If what you said was rhe case, a PFL would have been sent. Since, she didn't receive the letter, then it is far from it.

It is advised that in the reapplication, her uncle should still be left out. She should address the refusal reasons from both her side and that of her sponsor.

She should do well to request for her notes.

Best of Luck (to your sister)

alright thank you

Good day all.
I'm considering enrolling in a 1 year postgraduate diploma program (PGD) in canada.

What are my chances of becoming a permanent resident?

Or will a 2 years course be better suited?

Most Post Graduate Certificate programs have 1 year duration. You've the option to enrol for another program in order to qualify for the 2 to 3 years Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP).
