Everything in Nigeria is all based on politics. No wonder all the militants and crooks like Igboho and co are all walking freely like kings.

No country that cares about its existence and security will allow any threat to exist internally.

The man who stood as surety to Kanu is a senator,( Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe) he is suppose to be in prison by now for not providing his suretee in court but he is a free man, in a security conscious country, he will be arrested..

My brother, in the highlighted above I must say it's living in self deceit to imagine for a second this government thinks, reasons the importance of planning or even imagine they have plans on ground.

I was really shocked and amazed to learn that soldiers were deployed to Onitsha, mounting roadblocks, searching car boots and asking other residents to disembark from vehicles, hands up before crossing the checkpoints in search of ESN , I don't believe has gotten to this point.

If this government thinks right, reasons or understands techniques of fighting guerrilla warfare then this should have been the last resort and not the first.

In my humble opinion, I would have preferred we deployed more tactical policemen instead of soilders, intelligence officers about 500 to 700 across the South east gathering intelligence on the modus operandi and aims of the Esn. The National Orientation Agency would have been at the forefront right now preaching for peace, adverse effects of insecurity in the region and siting examples with the Northeast, Amazonian in Cameroon, Lybia, Syria and Iraq. Traditional rulers and important VIPs would be asked to feature in this series of enlightenments.

Also, there will be a need to find their sponsors, backers and supporters. These people should be arrested and prosecuted. Highly fortified camps in the forest should be bombed by the Nigerian airforce and camps located in highly populated area within residential areas should be invaded by the tactical police teams.

The government has to sit down and find a way of hitting them hard and quick demoralizing and putting a halt to their pursuit.

If this unknown gunmen are ESN, I read a report about the fight Abba Kyari lead against ESN in a forest in orlu. He had to withdraw and call in the military for help.

But i will love to get an answer to this question. Why is the FG not asking the British government to deport Nnamdi Kanu? He is the one in charge of IPOB and IPOB has been declared as a terrorist group in Nigeria.

We can even tell the British to charge him for terrorism. Or is there no evidence the FG can use in prosecuting him?

Didn't you write that Al quada gave birth to bokoharam and Al Shabaab, then i wrote that they never merge and i also wrote that al Qaeda never gave birth to both groups.

Affilates does not mean Aqim gave birth to boko haram or al Shabaab.

Affiliates mean, Aqim has a relationship with both group.

Note: boko haram or Al Shabaab are not a splinter group of Al Qaeda.

Dual citizen is not a problem, Nigerian government is not putting pressure on The Uk government to arrest and extradict him.

A similar incident happened in the Uk, where an iman( Abu Hamza al-Masri) with dual citizenship ( Uk and Egyptian)incited violence, the united state government requested for his extradition, and he was extradited, now he is serving life imprisonment in US prison.

If Nigerian Government are serious about Nnamdi kanu, they would get him arrested or even make an interpol wanted call on his head.

Yes.Extradition between the UK and Nigeria is facilitated by a multilateral treaty, “The London Scheme for Extradition within the Commonwealth”. Nigeria is a Part 2 territory under the Extradition Act 2003,.

As for Diezani, her case is very complicated because she is a citizen of both nigeria, dominican republic and the uk.

Infact, she has a diplomatic passport for Dominican republic, were she was appointed Trade and Investment Commissioner for the Commonwealth of Dominica.

It is very difficult to arrest someone on diplomatic passport because of its immunity.

Common sense tells us that no reasonable military will put their soldiers near a place where nuclear weapon has just been dropped. Does this dude even understand the impact of nuclear weapon, nuclear fallout and radiation?

Anywhere a nuclear bomb is dropped cannot be inhabited by humans for years. Again, wind will carry nuclear fallouts and radiation beyond where it was dropped. Just recently, wind blowing into France had high level of radiation, a consequence of their secret nuclear tests thousands of miles away from France.

OPERATION TURA TAKAIBANGO PHASE II: ROOT OUT THE BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS REMNANT FROM THEIR HIDEOUTS - 7 DIV GOC CHARGES TROOPS

The Acting General Officer Commanding 7 Division and Commander Sector 1 Operation Lafia Dole, Brigadier General Adelakun Eyitayo has charged troops of 21 Special Armoured Brigade and Multinational Joint Task Force (Cameroonian Defence Forces) to redouble their effort to smoke out the remnants of Boko Haram Terrorists who are still hiding in the Sambisa forest.

The GOC made the statement at the 21 Special Armoured Brigade muster ground on Sunday, 21 March 2021 during his maiden Operational visit to the Brigade. In his address, the GOC declared that troops are going to be armed to the teeth before setting out for the last onslaught against the BHT. He also assured them that there would be air cover for the period of the operation.

The GOC further commended the troops for working very hard in the Phase I of Operation Tura Takaibango and urged them to maintain same tempo in the Phase II of the same Operation.

General Eyitayo was received at the entrance of Bama town by Commanders 21 SAB, Brigadier General Waidi Shaibu and 26 Task Force Brigade, Brigadier General AG Mahmuda. He was briefed by the two Commanders at the Brigade Operation room on the achievements recorded by the two Brigades during the Phase I of Operation Tura Takaibango. The GOC was also briefed on the current security situation and challenges confronting the two Brigades.

During the visit, the Acting GOC urged troops to remain committed and professional in discharging their duties while assuring them of his commitment to improving their welfare.

The Acting GOC also visited Shehu of Bama,His Royal Highness, Alhaji Umar Kyari Umar El-Kanemi where he solicited for the Emirate cooperation.

Present at the occasion were: Comd 37 AB, Brig Gen M Bashir, Comd 57 Sig Bde, Brig Gen SA Emmanuel, Comd Div ST, Brig Gen AA Ekubi, Comd 107 DS, Brig Gen BI Alaya, Comd 7 Div Gar, Brig Gen AG Haruna among other Comds and senior officers.
