cutievik:This guys are good are negative propaganda ! The Armed forces and the NAF has already gave them a befitting military burial at Abuja, please what else do they want ! They should attend a personal requiem service organized by on of the officers religious bodies, that means for every soldier that died in the Northeast, the military would attend each and every service organized to honour them after the full military honorary burials. |

ariesbull:Baba, your write up here no make sense, why the name calling?. He wrote what he did out of his kin interest to share with us his "mind bogging new intel" innocently, pure love and an ignorance to defence matters not rather from a bogus POV. If you've followed him unbiased for a while you would have spotted the difference. Nevertheless, as one big battlefield family we should learn to respect people at least... Some people no deserve am and when you see them you go know once but not Joscofelix. Peace |

cutievik:Me I call fake news on that tweet. I watched the burial of those 7 fine men at National Military Cemetery live on Channels. The current CAS was there, almost all NAF Flag Officers were there, Minister of Defence was there and the CDS plus all service chieves sent 2 star representation. Video still fit dey YouTube sef. If the family decided to do something after the military rites, then it is not compulsory for them to partake again. Abi how una reason am? |

tutudesz:Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe was given three options of bail for failing to produce Nnamdi kanu in court. I believe he met one of the bail options. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/297719-analysis-ipob-nnamdi-kanu-and-the-propriety-of-sureties-losing-n300mn-bond.html ESN is playing mind game with the FG and they are falling for it. ESN is using the herder/farmer clashes in the south east to garner more sympathy and boots, resources and personnels from the civil populace. They are applying a lot of intelligence in their mode of operation. Attack armed police personnels in possesion of AK-47, cart away their rifles, move on to another target and it continues from there on, giving them enough time to amass enough weapons. As it is, the police is indirectly helping to arm the group. Like somebody said, create a tactical team that could withstand an attack in strategic points, especially close to police stations. Withdraw policemen from checkpoints (it makes them sitting ducks for target practise) or better still, arm them with pump actions and pistols. Lastly, appeal for peace among the populace and find a way to reduce the farmer/herder clashes. It is becoming impetus for the group |

I'm a long time poster and follower on this thread (using a new moniker). From the days when I would visit Beegs Blog before coming here and the other African security thread, the different deaths of this thread and indeed it's revivals have a common theme. A new poster with good intentions and Intel joins and wows all with their information. But suddenly, haters begin to rise and such person is attacked until they are hounded off the thread. Factual corrections are very in order, and stopping people spreading lamba stories is in order too. But can we PLEASE do this without insults, name calling and all the derailing of the thread that comes with it. Such behaviour chased the Indian away from here, chased the Algerian away from here, chased the South Africans away from here and now it is chasing our fellow Nigerians away. Even the Kenyan rarely comes by anymore. O wrong now! We owe some people here a big apology. I set the example and apologize to JOSCOFELIX for all the attacks he received about his "nuclear" bomb. I believe that the explosion and battle damage from a half ton (RAAD I warhead weight, so I expect RAAD II will be heavier) warhead Cruise Missile is no joke, hence the "nuclear" tag. After all that is the closest we will ever have to nuclear for the foreseeable future. Felix stated that RAAD II was used and people insulted his life. Many forgot the link to JF 17. Less than 72 hours later we have photo confirmation that indeed the birds are here, and I even suggested to us how the service entry may have been expedited. We should be calming down small for each other as we build an online family that grows our individual knowledge of Nigeria's defence sector. Ese. Daalu. Nagode. Thank you!! |

persius555:ESN attack on checkpoint and police stations is to get enough guns needed for a full scale attack. The military is over stretched with different operations and the police are unable to identify and deal with ESN. |

persius555:The military checkpoints are just psyche ops and to also limit freedom of movement of the non-state actors. Anyone will think twice before moving around with weapons right now. FG isn't ready to commit to a lethal operation in that axis and they have opted for a less troublesome approach for the mean time. Also, I will advise that police in the region leave the streets and move into locations they can defend exactly like the aftermath of the endsars protest. It might prolong the inevitable for a while too. |

Whyem15:For me, it would be more police in the area, not less, better kitted, double pay. Police would take the lead role with military in supporting role. I feel there should be attempts at normalising the areas as much as possible (even veneer of normalisation) because of the psychology. We don’t want a warlike feeling to the place since this will cloud minds, creating self fulfilling situation informed by the online ethno political egging on we witness daily on platforms like Niraland and which disgusts majority of us here. |

JOSCOFELIX:The JF-17 just arrived on Sunday along with PAF technical team. Its still in the process of being assembled and hasn't even been handed over yet, yet you're telling us the jets were involved in combat missions on two separate fronts a few hours after delivery. You can't blame anyone if they decide not to take you seriously now! Additionally, not only is RAAD-II cruise missile not in any way nuclear armed, but its still in its early stage of testing Pakistan. The missile hasn't even been delivered to PAF yet and you're here confidently spewing nonsense saying NAF has already deployed them in combat? Lol |

DaddyGoo:Make it make sense to me. NAF sparingly uses its ATGM for BH/ISWAP but will suddenly use an estimated $500k-$1m CRUISE MISSILE for bandits. C'mon stop this |
