Lurker4Long:I'm tempted to use invectics on you but I won't condescend to your low statu.s. What nonsense! What upgraded Mig-21? You have the temerity to spew such thrash to spoil the pleasure of Nigerians at the arrival of a true 4th generation platform capable extended standoff weapon delivery and Nuclear strike. I knew this coming seeing your last post and watching if any one would stand poised to rebutt you. Southies and their bitterness at the excellence of Nigeria above them in every strategic sphere. Just Zip it. |

BE MORE WATCHFUL WHILE ON DUTY - GOC ADVISES TROOPS UNDER COMMAND. The Acting General Officer Commanding 7 Division Nigerian Army and Commander Sector 1 Operation Lafiya Dole, Brigadier General Adelokun Eyitayo has advised troops of 21 Special Armoured Brigade, 26 Task Force Brigade, 402 Special Force Brigade and Multinational Joint Task Force (Cameroon Defence Forces) to be watchful and becareful of where they step on during their advace to avoid stepping on Improvised Explosive Devices (IED). He made the advice on Wednesday 24 March 2021 while addressing troops at the Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Abu-Ali shooting range, Sambisa forest, Borno State. During the address, GOC appreciated the troops doggedness and determination exhibited in the first thrust and charged them to put in more effort in exterminating the remnants of BHT. The GOC also urged the troops to dedicate themselves to push back the insurgents as they have pushed Nigerians to the wall. He however, concluded the address with dramatic slogan "do something before something do you". Which literarily means that (be the first to kill enemy before enemy kills you). This slogan was hailed by troops as they all chorused "do something before something do you". At the same event, Commander 21 Special Armoured Brigade, Brigadier General Waidi Shaibu prayed for God's guidance and protection throughout the operation. He also requested God to drain the pockets of insurgent sponsors and grant troops of the Nigeran Army success over them.

Lurker4Long:Apparently you didn't qualify it in your bedroom. Do you think idiots are on this platform to feed garbage. Pakistan's survival against India depends on strategic game changing weapons such as the ALCM as deterrence and yes they have qualified it on the Joint-Strike Fighter 17 which already excels the Pakistani F-16. You must be d.umb or too sic.k not to acknowledge Pakistan won't be sitting ducks to India with Rafale Jets. That NAF has this capability is a win for sub-saharan Africa which has none. Suc.k it up and pay homage. |

The idiotic nonsense on here. 1) F7 is an upgraded Mig-21, which can carry 250kg-500kg dumb bombs. 2) RAAD 1 is the Pakistani designation for the DENEL MUPSOW, currently qualified for the Mirage and JF17. 3) RAAD 2 is the extended range version, recently integrated on the Mirage and JF17, a single test firing, and not yet in production. But what use are facts when chest-puffing means bending reality to whatever fantasies I wake up with? |

I believe we can have a normal discussion and exchange information without insulting ourselves. We all have different sources and most time such source may be wrong. |

Lurker4Long:1) is the F7 same as Mig21? Are they from the same country of origin? Can F7 carry missiles? Or you think it's just to carry dumb bombs? Why not call the L-15, YAK-130 or M345? 2) RAAD 1 Is not same as your south african mupsow that is still in development. Till date it's still not in service with SAAF. How will pakistan copy something that never really exist? Every south african missile parts are bought and assembled. Nothing stops other countries from buying same parts for their own projects. Sudan also produce a lot of missiles. RAAD 1 have more than double the range of muspow. Stop all this self praise. Everything good and worth celebrating was copied from South Africa. 3) why is RAAD II not from South Africa? Rubbish |

Lurker4Long: 1. NAF doesn't have to officially induct before operations start. When Israel and the USA were running Operation Nickel Grass to replace heavy Israeli materiel and platform losses during the 1973 War, did the Israelis officially commission every tank and F4E before deployment to the Sinai? Never mind for a long touted gamechanger airframe. No be assign the bird fleet/tail number join am for the fight? 2. I agree. Hence my earlier assertion that the Pakistanis could have supplied near-expiry RAAD 1 missiles for relative peanuts. Or, if you were the Pakistani Chief of Air Staff, would you rather let these $1 million weapons expire and be disposed of than sell to a brother country for $200k, with the proviso that it has a very short lifespan? This brother country is also a fellow OIC member and you have deep personal interservice links due to decades of joint training. Like you said RAAD I hasn't been battle tested. Where else best to test it than against active millitants, who don't expect such an attack while threatening to turn the entire county into a boiling pot of hot mess?! |
