Well its a matter of perception formed by looking at pics.

Some might choose to believe or some might not, and thats ok for either POV for now since there is no way to prove it authentically ie people actually land on mars and see for themselves.

Zero recoil LMG! Its only a 5.56 milly but still....

[url][https://youtu.be/R1zQuWpsYZYurl]

The Ultimax uses a constant recoil mechanism to stay stable. It works! Its like a movie gun where there's no recoil.

The latest variant,the Surefire MGX is a modular LMG weighing 4kg with the same constant recoil system. Its changeable from 5.56 to 6.8 mm allowing also different barrel lengths for different tactical situations.

[url][https://youtu.be/FXzn27vFb5Qurl]

There are only 2 prototypes. If it's as reliable as it seems the designer outdid himself! Everyone at HK, Kalashnikov and FN will be crying into their beer!

I'm not persuaded, yet. I like the 6.8 aspect. The no recoil principle means compromises elsewhere. The barrel, bolt etc...

Incidentally, having fired a few, I'm now a huge fan of 6.8mm. So much I think our new Saffer assault rifle and future lmg should be 6.8.

Won't stop me acquiring a pristine 7.62 R1/fal should such a thing correspond with my budget.

You may well be right! This was a short vid. It DIDN'T speak of any possible feeding issue with different ammo types. I've googled a bit and HAVEN'T found anything, though.
Btw, watch in slomo in HD and notice the bolt DOESN'T go all the way back like the old German MP 40. That ofc drastically cuts down recoil.
Personally I think I'd stick with the old 7.62 NATO which has better ballistics at 400+ metres.

An entire platoon in Iraq was stood down 4 yrs ago. How much else haven't we heard? Here's rampant hard drug use in the unit.

Shocking US combat deaths Iraq outnumber total Vietnam KIA! However,thanks to a dubious counting system this is being kept under wraps-
Under the new reporting system, deaths that happen en route or post evacuation are not counted as combat deaths. This is why the number seems unusually low — a little over four thousand as of 2009.
I won't post the source:its auto filtered.

According to The Department of Veterans Affairs, as of May 2007, reports in the Gulf War Veterans Information System reveal these startling numbers:

Total U.S. Military Gulf War Deaths: 73,846
* Deaths amongst Deployed: 17,847
* Deaths amongst Non-Deployed: 55,999

The stastics for non-lethal injuries are likewise staggering:

Total “Undiagnosed Illness” (UDX) claims: 14,874
Total number of disability claims filed: 1,620,906
* Disability Claims amongst Deployed: 407,911
* Disability Claims amongst Non-Deployed: 1,212,995

Aside of new generation Combat Vehicle Platforms, the contract should include Transfer of Technology. It will cover Performance Based Logistics, niche Technologies, Engineering Support Package, and other Maintenance and Training requirements, as well also Delivery Schedule.

Yea, Indian military defence industry is quite advanced.

Only deluded Pakistanis think they can match Indian firepower.
