The easiest way to break northern rule and this nigerian contraption has been looking southerners right in the face for almost 12years. Anyways for a yoruba nation to succeed we must first rid ourselves of the snakes, rats and scorpions amongst ourselves.... they're the traditional leaders, pastors, imans and most importantly external snakes both from the north and east who have compromised us and driving a divide within the tribe using largely religion and political party as a divide. Once we do this then we can now move towards a yoruba nation. To achieve this would need billions of $$, lobbying, bullying, killing and politiking. Igboho's first mistake was when he put a camera to himself and announced to the world what he was doing, he achieved far more without the popularity or media coverage.

And nah Nnmadi Azikwe cause all this rubbish.

In 1953 when Northern Nigerians were beginning to consider secession from the Nigerian colony that would soon be a nation, Nnamdi Azikiwe gave a speech before the caucus of his political party, the National Council of Nigeria and the Cameroons (NCNC) in Yaba, Nigeria on May 12, 1953. That speech, while not disallowing secession, suggested that there would be grave consequences if the Northern region became an independent nation. Ironically, fourteen years later, Azikiwe led his Eastern Region out of Nigeria and created Biafra, a move that prompted a bloody three year civil war. Azikiwe’s 1953 speech appears below.

Where in that writeup did you see Azikiwe telling you he wanted to rule and dominate Nigeria? If not for anything, he was trying to save the north which appeared weak to maintain a separate country, ànd that their separation would become a big burden on the south if crisis happen. Every right thinking person will see thàt writeup as one showing the traits of the common Ibo man, as one who hates to see others suffer. There is no gainsaying that the south would never have been in peace if the north did not get it right if they formed a separate country. And what has the north done in appreciation to the Igbo man after his sacrifice to save them them from destruction?
It's a lie
He thought the igbos tribe will dominate all sectors in Nigeria and marginise the Yoruba which is my tribe and also turn the hausa to slave cause they are not smart like the other tribes.
Now both Igbo and Yoruba are now slave to the hausa,,,,,,,,,,it's act of selfishness cause all this rubbish that we are now facing.

https://www.blackpast.org/global-african-history/1953-nnamdi-azikiwe-speech-secession. My guy, you just contradicted yourself, first Zik advise was based on his desire to rule over a large united Nigeria, it had nothing to do with igbo interest because all igbos know that Zik worked more against igbo interest than any other igbo elite of his time that is why Ojukwu is more revered in igboland than him, then again, Zik did not lead the igbos out of Nigeria, Ojukwu did and Zik later abandoned the new republic when his pacifist approach did not align with Ojukwu's confrontational style, but that is all in the past now, the south and middle belt need to come together or as an individual groups fight this futa jalon terrorist from all fronts, we can always agree on how to stay together or go our seperate ways in a more diplomatic way without having these murderers forcing their primitive way of life on all of us. Peace.

He whom the gods want to kill, they first make mad.
A governor of a state or a traditional ruler cannot decide if his people want to be part of Nigeria or not.
Referendum is the only way to determine the people that want to be part of Nigeria.
You don’t expect governors, traditional rulers, senators and other prominent people that benefit from Nigeria to support its breakup.
We should stop deceiving ourselves in this country.

What do you think you learnt?

I maintain that the level of ignorance and almost non existent critical/logical/analytical thinking skills in most Nigerians is the cause of the level of poverty and hardship we're facing today.

Can you not be a sheep and think for yourself? Also, do some reading and research?
