Even if this is a made up story but in my little experience in this life I've learnt not to reveal a lot to women and I intentionally overlook them at times. women tend to take advantage of good men a lot. folks it is real. I've seen and experienced it. the phrase give a woman an inch and she will take a mile is 100 percent correct

I don't know what marriages are based on.. I always thought it was love and trust..

The woman doesn't love nor trust the man and she only sees him as a tool to be used to fulfill her plans on whatever she's planning..

That man should just separate himself from her because no matter the amendments she try to make he won't be the same anymore.. that's an everlasting scar in his memory.. What's the point being with a cheat and betrayal??

Move on.. sell all the properties you have in both names.. she doesn't deserve a life with the good man..

I don't understand why is everybody sounding like is a big deal, maybe because a man is the victim here. Somebody like me that my husband refused to tell his monthly earnings, he does thing for his family without my knowledge, this is a man that refused to give me 300k for business but sent his mother 200k to fix her car, pay part of her house rent even when she is richer than my husband and clearly can afford her needs, a man that doesn't care about our fertility state though through my mom's help am seeking medical attention, a man that I don't know anything about his finance and expenditure. I went through the details. That night I couldn’t sleep. I was angry. I felt let down. I felt cheated. I felt played. We’ve been married for six good years and my wife earned that much without my knowledge? How much she earned didn’t bother me a lot than what she was using that money for. I saw the pictures. I read the various budget you had sent to my wife. I read the confirmation of the money receipts that you sent her. You’re a man. Would you be happy if your wife does this to you?” He started fumbling. He started apologizing saying he thought I was aware.”

What were you people’s agreement on responsibility?
Some family are strictly traditional where the man provides and the woman is the home keeper. In that case, what she makes from her job is really not for you to know or what she does with it either. As long as she’s faithfully keeping her side of the bargain and you’re keeping yours as well, peace should reign. Or so it seems.

But what we normally have these days are people (husbands) who want a traditional wife but can’t keep their eyes of her money. If you ask them to do some of the wifely duties, they will say you’re insulting them, emasculating them and the devil is using you to break up the home.

A true realistic marriage should not be rigid in roles and responsibilities. It never works in really life to be so rigid and unshakeable about who does what. Resentment always sets in at some point. Everyone should help each other. Imagine if she brought her income home without hiding. Maybe that house would be completed by now and both of you would be landlords.

I don't know what marriages are based on.. I always thought it was love and trust..

The woman doesn't love nor trust the man and she only sees him as a tool to be used to fulfill her plans on whatever she's planning..

When a Nigerian/African marriage crashes, the woman leaves with just her box. You guys would be happy. You even encourage yourselves to marry back home so that the standard can remain. You don’t fail to threaten her with second wife or getting thrown back to her father’s house.
