Oluwasegun664:Ask them Buhari they worship like a god is he literate ![]() Buhari can barely read and write. Buhari is a semi-literate, almost an illiterate herder who managed to join army by quota system and rose to a captain through tribal supremacy and warped Nigerian Army promotion system. Yet they are happy to submit to such a vision less, failed terrorist than submit to their own tribesman who have shown that he loves his people more than anything else which is number one quality of a great leader. Moses in the Bible was never a literate but he led Israelites out of Egypt. There were Professors in Israel then and those dinning with Egyptian King and royals and it never stopped Moses from leading his people out of Egypt. |

Lifestone:Prior to 2015 which "visionary" leader has been presented to you? People say let's split the country since we don't share the same values. Still una no gree! You want to eat your cake and have it. You want to reap where you never sowed! That's the problem with people like you! I am almost certain a visionary leader for you will be Tinubu or Osibanjo, people who 'believed' in Buhari's 'vision' in close to 8 years. You would never have voted Buhari in 2015 if your kinfolk was not his vice! We know your type, your bigotry is not as raw as that of your Fulani friends. That doesn't make it less despicable. Despite all the killings in the build up to the 2003 polls your Yoruba elite pleaded with the other Southern zones to support Obasanjo's second term bid. Those same people turned their back against Jonathan in 2015 because they saw an opportunity to field a Yoruba as vice. Una never start! Wetin una go take eye see for this 9ja, bigotry go taya una. |

Oluwasegun664:I am a proud Yoruba full blood count, we are known to fight with our brains. Look at the endsars, Yorubas lost the most. Only those who has nothing to lose will support insurrection and anarchy. |
| Re: Yoruba Nation: You Can’t Deceive Us, Akeredolu Knocks Akintoye, Others by AbijaJ: 9:56am On Mar 26, 2021*. Modified: 10:33am On Mar 26, 2021 |
Oracleforce:Akeredolu is the governor of Ondo state for the next 4yrs, and is therefore saddled with the responsibility of ensuring that security of the lives of Ondo residents are protected. If in his judgment, a rally planned by a secessionist movement would pose a security risk to his state, he is within his rights as governor to prevent that. We all saw how endsars ended and till today we are still bearing the brunt. Prof. Akitoye should find a more receptive state to organize his rally since Ondo has rejected it. Prof. can never claim to speak for every yoruba because that would be a lie and gross misrepresentation. If yoruba secessionists are serious about their ambition and truly have the support of most yorubas, they should organize, mobilize, and form their own political party, then elect representatives of their own choosing who will drive their agenda at the national and state assemblies, since they feel all current Yoruba politicians are not good enough for them. That's the proper way to go about it to avoid division and possible civil war within the race. Because whether you like it or not, some sections of yoruba society are either not in support of this secessionist agitation, or they are on the fence about it, and these aren't even politicians but Yorubas from all walks of life. Yes. Such people may number in the millions even. So will you keep threatening or kill all of such people? Or would you rather communicate with them to make them see reason with you? Awolowo earned the right and privilege to be called yoruba leader because he contested for elections both locally and nationally, and Yorubas all across overwhelmingly voted for him, even in presidential elections that he lost. That was enough proof of his general acceptability and endorsement by Yorubas as their leader. Prof. Akitoye has never been given such a collective mandate by Yorubas. If Akitoye wants such mandate then he should play by the rules and become a 'good' politician (since you his followers believe the current ones are all bad) like Awolowo and test his popularity and then use his political power to drive his agenda. |

PHijo:Now you see my point. Yoruba fights with brain and we've been winning, why change the tactics. Nigeria should be restructured and be made to work for all, that's what all tribes should be pushing for. Let's collapse the current state structures to Regions with full autonomy including fiscal autonomy (full resource control), State & community police as it is done in United Kingdom with necessary ammendment to domesticate it. This does not require armed struggle or unitary declaration as been pushed for by Sunday Igboho and the so called Professor. It will require consultations as the case may be. This should be the direction of the push instead of clamoring for obvious disaster. |

| Re: Yoruba Nation: You Can’t Deceive Us, Akeredolu Knocks Akintoye, Others by PHijo(m): 10:11am On Mar 26, 2021 |
Lifestone:So you believe Buhari or his Fulani kinfolk will embrace restructuring? Many of those who want the country to split have decided to tow that path because their voices on the need to restructure was not heard. I lost my respect for your so-called Yoruba progressives after 2015. Till date they've been silent on issues like restructuring, Buhari has bought them over. If the North doesn't want changes let the country split. At least all of you have benefited from other people's resources for too long. It is enough! Feeding fat on others for over 50 years is no joking matter. |

[quote author=franchasng post=100224630]Says who ![]() Even the broke, unemployed Yoruba youths on this same forum prefer to be hungry and killed by herdsmen under Nigeria than agitate for their own Yoruba nation where they will have a better life. Maybe Hausa-Fulanis cast a mumu spell on them during the Civil War, maybe To them being under Nigeria and playing tribal politics of backstabbing and cheating others is sophistication. [/quo Bros I live wirh them and interact with the youths. I agree however with you that they are fearful about the outcome of a struggle. They are fed up. The elite keep telling Nigerians to pray for a better country just because the system favours them. The future belongs to the youths so they themselves should decide and not some old men somewhere enjoying in their palace |

Awon alaiyeluwa were e wo niyen. Awon alaiyeluwa oloriburuku gbogbo. Awon omo ale alaiyeluwa. Akeredolu should keep up the ante and you should keep it up as well on social media as you are most likely paid to do. Soon enough, i assure you and Akeredolu, everything will crystalize and there will be nothing hidden under the sun. Then we will know if you and your ilk speak for the Yoruba people or if Igboho and co do. Vaughanlanrewaj: |

If you care to study history, you will realise that ancient civilizations and tribes that have ceased to exist have been as a result of successively weak leadership. In the last 250 years, the Yoruba race has been existentially threatened by the Fulanis. Within this timeline, we have had our religion stripped from us and have had one of our major cities taken from under our very noses, all as a result of a group of feeble-minded men in leadership positions. The same scenario plays out till this very day. And back then, just like some common folk in Yoruba land thought we could never lose Ilorin to the Fulani, some common folk today believe we can never lose the Yoruba heartland to the Fulani. Well, there is a timeless saying that goes, the strong will always dominate the weak. With the present crop of leaders that the Yorubas have (both today and in recent history), I can assure you that if the Yorubas continue on this path we are on, it is not a question of IF but that of WHEN. If we do not alter the course of present events, we will lose all our cities and all our lands to the Fulani and it will be because of these same weak and selfish men in positions of leadership. |
