I mean they have some pretty good stuff coming up, Aquaman was successful they made shazam and the new suicide squad will introduce more characters, you have Black Adam that is starting filming soon, and then the DCAU has been very successful, the only movie I think they've had a lot of problems with is The Flash. Me personally I don't care if they are connected or not as long as the movie is good I'm okay with it.

Yes, I agree WB meddling was a menace to DC's growth. Whether MOS is due for a sequel or not I can't say since I wasn't the one who greenlit the first. Also my reasoning as a Fan might be different thinking from a business minded executive. But as a fan I want it. Doesn't mean I'll be whiny and complaining all the time cos I didn't get what I want. My favourite character (Lucifer) isn't even in any live action movie or considered for future movies but I don't go about crying and boycotting cos I didn't get what I want. I'm a DC fan after all, not a Director fan or a character fan. Doesn't mean I'll hate other characters who gets movie roles over mine. That's the difference between a Fan when it's convenient and a TRUE FAN.
MOS underperformed financially and was divisive amongst fans and general public also including Critics. Same problems with BvS with mass underperformance. Suicide Squad same even tho it was a financial success.
In fact the last 5 movies post Snyder has far more critical acceptance than his(Zack) movies with even slightly less popular characters.
These are: WW84, BOP, Shazam, Joker, Aquaman.


Bros so little kids and teenagers don't deserve to see any movie geared towards them? Which in turn makes them future fans of DC if they enjoyed such movies in their childhood, thus growing the fanbase and replenishing lost fans. As if DC have been making kids movies since kingdom come. Even the animations are vastly geared towards adults! Only small limited distributed TV shows are kids. Not as if they'll spend $100mn on such movies. So they don't deserve big Theatricals which their parents take them to?

Besides Superman has been in big movies for decades and continues to get movies over other characters for time immemorial. What hurt would it cause to have other characters related to him get some shine? Same with Batman.
why the heck won't I want other good/great characters who could give the franchise variety and flexibility? It's not as if all future movies have wack characters or something.

DC is all characters inclusive not Batman/Superman or Wondy Universe.

From your points I get you really want something similar to what MCU is doing.....
Tonal difference doesn't mean all most follow the pattern of Zack but at least don't give us something that one will watch and start having a deja vu of something else. And that is what WB keeps doing. Wannabe MCU.
Nothing reigns forever, but varieties sustain it for a longer time before the roof start coming down.... The western movies of the 70s comes to mind.
Also, supporting Zack's vision doesnt mean we don't see other DC movies, we do, we just don't want ours to look very much like MCU.
So for the record krypto is the right movie for WB to bring into DCEU because they want to please their kids and teenage fans, right.
Brother, the hashtag restorethesnyderverse is very much gaining momentum hrs after hrs and this million tour de force fans you see also watch other DC movies not like they don't, but they really need something far different from MCU.

I also want the Snyderverse restored but I also want the expansion.

The multiverse makes it easy for more Epicness. Just hope Kilar intervenes and greenlit JL 2 and 3. Even if it's all HBOMax no problems.

I still think we might get the Snyderverse...maybe not now. They'll wait when things have died down and maybe in few months time some announcement is made. They might wanna save face first and act chump. Since HBOMax must produce at least 2 DC movies per year, I see Snyderverse taking one or two slots in the years to come.

All studios have movies which falls into development hell. DC case isn't unique. As a fan we're bummed but it is what it is. Making money out of such projects is always a primary goal man and if studios feel not confident about it, things gets delayed.

At times things are not solely problems from studios.

Blame game ain't my thing but way forward. And I'm moving on from the Snyderverse. If we get it great, if not I'll see it as missed opportunity or what could have been. But life's cruel. So far I can still see Cavill prominently in future films no problem.

If there's a man of steel I'd hate the regular suspects for villains. I'll want to see Mr Mxyzptlk gain some shine. Not the usual, lex, Brainiac or Darkseid, Doomsday etc. Even Lobo might be good.
