If only we knew that it's not by the number but by the quality, then, the Government would have focus on a few and made them world class. the Government would have withdrawn the license of many and leave the remaining as centres of excellence. Just like AUST-Abuja, though being small, is a center of excellence in scientific research. But the government has ridiculed the university system so much that even universities that are marketed from the pulpit are gaining more recognition than government university where billions are being poured into. Let's learn to make the little better than to see for the worse much. 15 Likes |
