So not building a university in Delta State makes Jonathan a fool? Is not the the narrow mind and uncultured people like you that the universities are going to produce?!
If you think I made my post solely for the consumption of people with 'toutish' tendency, then you need to think again.

Validated:
Delta University Agbor is an uograde of existing college of Education. The collefe has been in existence for about 22 years now.
Thank you Okowa. Please, look at upgrading Agbor hospital to a teaching hospital. Delta University Teaching Hospital (DUTH) would not be a bad idea. UBTH is already overwhelmed.
What of the one in oghara

This is uncalled for. A whole 3 University at once while the existing ones are suffering.
Okowa has no direction at all.

Politics of university approval, APC DSP omo agege used his influence to get a federal polytechnic approved at orogun in his own town in delta state.

Now to water down what that campaign will cause in 2023 ,The PDP OKowa send the remaining higher institutions into university level

Politics will kill all the foolish politicians in Nigeria...instead of the overstay Leo Ogor to push the ozoro poly to federal polytechnic since over 12years as senator,he did nothing, now that his counterpart have done what he can't do the okowa lead govt just did a foolish calculation and arrive at 3 university in delta state.

There is 1 in Asaba,1 in Abraka, 1 in Ozoro 1 in Agbor. The NUC can not even inspect to see if the upgraded schools in names has facilities.

God help us...the leaders are idiots

A time is coming when every town or village will have its own university.

Establishing universities though a welcome development, its not an end in itself.

The resources to effectively manage them is another issue entirely.

Most of these so-called universities are nothing but glorified secondary schools!

Again, what's the essence of churning out graduates who would merely add to the unemployment market?

Where are the companies, factories, etc to absorb them after graduation?

Political universities if you ask me!

It's a bleeped up move for okowa to come up with a crap like that... Staffs of Delsu are finding it difficult to live simple life cos of delay pay and other ackward academic policies dwidling the comon man's purse.

Students are crying cos of messed up policies like Delsu new conjugation with ASUU and School fees hikes and this blind governor is busy fighting to keep one University in his local govt. Make Dem do as Dem Sabi..... I left that hell hole years ago...

you get sense at all?
So there's federal University in all the state in Nigeria apart from Delta State?
Out of the six SS States, we have 4 Federal University (uniben, unical, uniport and the one created by Jonathan in Bayelsa).
how many do your region have.
It's possible your State don't even have state University or sharing with another state.

How exactly is this a good development?

A state whose citizenry are wallowing in poverty and struggling to pay salaries is about to have 2 more monumental liabilities, and you call that a good development?

True talk.... the worst part be say who will employ the thousands of graduates this schools will be producing on a daily.....
