I have said it times without number that trust yorubas at your own peril. Yorubas are better off in Nigeria than outside. Yorubas should be grateful to the North becasue the North made Yorubas what they are today and without the North Yorubas would have been nowhere.
What can Lagos offer? Apart from Lagos all the remaining states in Southwest are weak and cannot sustain itself. Also Yorubas are parasites in Nigerian government who offer nothing than first telling you when he meets you that he is not an igbo person. He says this while looking for favor from a Hausa man. Instaed of speaking what he can do, he start destroying the Igboman first. While he is going to mosque with an Igala or Egbiraman who is a moslem or a Hausa fulani man, any little issue that involves an igboman becomes his weapon to lobby for favor. So where there is no Igboman, how will the Yorubas survive? Whom will they look to destroy to gain favor. Reuben Abati clearly captured the issue when he avvered that Yorubas have benefitted more in one Nigeria. And i believe they should remain and also stop biting the finger that feeds them that is the North. More Yorubas are occupying positions in this government than even the Northerners. The gyrational attitude of their youths are for APC Presidency in 2023.
