If anyone can check my history on this forum,he/she would realized that some years back,I wrote that I would not be disappointed if buhari performs poorly but it would in fact be a rude suprise to me if he performs well,that thought was informed by my knowledge of buhari's history,the twists in them n my experience of his rule as military head of state,there were people I argued with so much over buhari before 2015 elections,one particular person who was a university lecturer was so carried away by the Apc propaganda about buhari that was ready to fight over buhari,the man left to Ireland shortly after buhari won,he came visiting a year ago only to relocate permanently with his family but before he left he admitted how utterly disappointed he was in buhari, personally I still stand by my opinion because I don't see anything changing about buhari.

I passionately disagree that it's difficult to sell a bad products! People are buying bad products conveniently in as much as the sellers is proactive in giving false information about the products. Whoever that now come after with good products would be rejected. Nigerians hate to be told the truth!

Those guys are more depressed than the average Nigerian....the only difference that makes their depression manageable is their salary and perks of their office.

Imagine if a supposed lecturer could fall for a known coupist and dictator then what more of the uneducated? That’s to show you how watered down our education has become, so much so that the learned can’t ask informed questions anymore. Our schools breed robots that can read and write but can’t actually think. How can a lecturer vote for a man that destroyed our young democracy, dragged the country down into her first recession, conducted detentions of perceived dissenting voices without fair trial, didn’t upgrade his education even after leaving the office( like his peers did e.g obasanjo). A man who never contributed in nation building but only made his voice heard during elections. How can you fall for such a man??

Like I used to say in 2014 and 15 as I tell kids and young people. Don't expend your energies on what you cannot sustain nor is relevant for a lifetime.

It was clear from the outset that the capacity for the kind of government sold Nigerians as a changed.and improved variety was just not there because the analysis of Nigeria's challenges was just wrong.to start with.

And if the analysis was wring.the treatment will ne wrong and wvwn the personnel engaged will be wrong.

If you as a citizen said or still thinks the problem of Nigeria is corruption you will be like a doctor who comes across a patient wirh a splitting headache and sends him into surgery when in truth failing eyesight is the cause and an opthalmologist is the expert to handle it, then tour expectations are seriously misplaced.

I knew Mr. Buhari was not the right person for the job and I did warn that nothing fundamental about Nigeria will improve beyond a few roads, bridges and rail lines...because I know what our problems really are and I know Mr. Buhari very well. How he works, his positives and negatives.

And because of all this I did say by 2023 it wil be near impossible to defend the administration.

Today evwn the blind can see that we have a serious capacity challenge in almost every sector. We have a government that does not have intellectual solutions to any national problem and worst of all we cannot rally or round up those who can because they have all been railroaded.

We are all responsible for the mess we find ourselves in today because we made sentimental not factual choices and certainly not cerebral ones. Let us see what changes in 18 months.
